Course could be something great, I played on a Tuesday early and they sent me off #10. Greens where not cleaned off from the dew. They had both maintenance guys on the front nine first. Did not see them until 6 or 7th hole. Fairways were not cut and we did not have rain for at least 3 days before that. The whole course had not been cut. By the time I got to the front nine they started cutting the course.

I played here before, when i was in town and it was ok. Did not remember the name of course when I booked on line, wish i did, for the money the course was not worth $35. Played better course in Lauderdale for lesser,I remember the names will not go back. Played West course.

The value and I like the course, the greens were great, the tee boxes were not so great.
Thanks for your comments, Mario. We have overseeded the two tee boxes that we always have trouble with and they should be great going forward.

I like the lay out it would have been nice to know there was a tournament going on when I booked it.
I have not played at Ashton for almost a year now. It is a great layout and conditions are excellent. I too had the same problem with lack of communication and being stuck in a tournament. Had they started us on the backside there wouldn't have been an issue. Since they started us on the front after completing the tenth about nine carts came zipping by us to start their tournament. Played the front in 1 1/2 hours...the back in 2 1/2 hours. Response by clubhouse was not satisfactory. Thus have not been back in over a year. Too many courses in Atlanta to be treated in such a manner.

I usually play this course with friends in the mornings. Afternoon golf shop attendant was un friendly and it rained right after starting and I was on 3rd hole so I asked for a rain check he gave me one for 15 holes. Very disappointed!
