Friendly staff. Course is challenging but still friendly for most men and women of all ages. Links style and took a little longer to play but pace of play pretty good.

Staff friendlier than in past when I’ve played. Course in good shape this time of year.
I only wish they had a restroom downstairs close to the snack bar available when you make the turn. Very inconvenient and time consuming to go upstairs for restroom.
Enjoyed my round.

Really enjoy playing at Ft Walton Beach Golf Club. Only problem I have is the fairways have always been bare when I’ve played there. Greens good.

Course has some interesting holes for fun play.
However I played this course this past February and the fairways were bare which I understood. But it’s May and they are still bare. Very disappointed.
Thank you for playing and providing the review. I regret you played us during a very dry time complicated an a break in our irrigation system which has left thin and very compacted. I'm confident the projected rains this week will go a long towards helping us with this. Please try us again when you return.

Oaks at Ft. Walton Beach Golf Club

The fairways were barren in February and March when I played but because it was winter I did t think much about it. Howeve, it is now May and I’m back visiting in Florida and took some friends to play and the fairways really aren’t any better than they were in the winter. My friends and I were quite disappointed. The greens were in good shape.

Friendly staff gets you started.
Greens good, fairways still a little bare,
Pace of play good.
Need better marker directions to next hole for some holes.

Played On 02/15/2018Long course for women, but still enjoy it. Staff is friendly and courteous.
You need a restroom downstairs for use when making the turn. All those steps for me are not friendly.
