Love the course and always fun. Considering the drought, it is in great condition. The 17th is as much a championship hole as anywhere in the world, and I’ve been around. 😂

Fun and challenging layout. We've been in a severe drought, but the course has been managed well. Why I’ve never played this course is beyond me. I liked it a lot and I’m certainly going back. Very friendly and helpful staff. Not much to eat there, but the beverages are plentiful. 😁

Was in Wisconsin for the City Tour Championship and wanted to get a round in at this highly recommended course. It exceeded my expectations, and I would love to play again someday.

Never played the course and the first use of my new clubs, so I was a bit concerned. The course was pristine, even at 116 degrees, and so were my new irons. The course’s visual layout would please any pro golfer. The greens were tough, but fair. I have zero complaints.

I didn’t get to experience the off course amenities, but they looked nice. The wasn’t a beverage cart, nor was water available on the course today.

I love this course, and when it’s hot, it’s affordable and fast play. Had a blast.

This was my second time out, and I think it’s my new “go to” course. Can’t wait to go again....

It’s hot, dry, and we’ve had not rain, so no doubt the course is not pristine, however it is still is great condition. Beautiful course, open but challenging, and a ton of fun. The massive boulders out there make for some of the challenge and much of the beauty. I’ll be back soon.

Not that my first round was bad, but I was having an off day, so the fun was minimal. Of course now it started to get hot, so there are fewer people to contend with, and the course is becoming affordable. There was no cart going, which was odd, but I tanked up after nine.

I played well and found that this is a really fun course with interesting challenges. I say, “Go forth and birdie.”

Nice open layout, fast approachable greens. Free range balls, a huge plus.

However, the pace of play was slow, making it for me, not enjoyable. 2.5 hours on the front nine. I went to 10 and saw the back was going to be even slower, so it was time I picked up and went home. I’d like to play it again. I think with faster play it could be a lot of fun.

I love this course, but here’s my issue;
I brought my wife with me to hang out. They charged me $20 for her to ride in the cart. I’ve never heard of anything so absurd, and I’ve never heard of this being done at any other course in 45 years of play. Obviously this is some resort charge they’ve come up with, and apparently a long time ago. Yep. Still angry about it.

Layout of the course with the multitude of elevation changes makes the course fun and challenging. I need to play it again. I had an off day myself which took some of the fun. I found myself chasing the game more than usual. The overall experience needs as second look. I think knowledge of the layout is an important aspect to play here. This is one of those courses that will penalize you for not knowing quite where to go on your next shot.

I like everything about this course. Sure its showing its age, but like a fine wine. And the owners have kept the dust off the bottle.

This was my second tike there and my son and I got nine in before the sky opened up, dropping the temperature 30 degrees. They gladly gave us a rain check for the full 18.
This course if fun, long, wide open, and challenging. The staff is great, and although I’ve never experienced slow play, it’s a very laid back environment.

Beautiful Christmas Eve. The kitchen was closed when I got there, but the Chef made me lunch anyway, and boy was it good. Drizzling rain was off and on for the front and cleared quite a bit for the back. The course was beautiful. The staff and course are always inviting.

I live in Rio Verde, so this was a haul. There are very few courses I’d travel that far for, and I’m definitely going to go back. It’s an old course, but in fine shape, and a ton of fun. The people were great. Looking forward to my next round there.
