Beautiful set of par 3's par4's an par5's. Only 4 hilly holes but rest of red course gives a nice links feel! Tee boxes and fairways were well maintained. Greens were moderate speed. Sand traps were redone and in good shape. Players can use driver on all par 4's and par5's. It has a nice layout. I would recommend this course.

The black course has a beautiful variety of holes which includes 4 doglegs, and 5 holes with elevated tees which are all straight holes, and the rest are straight holes with level tee boxes.There are 3 holes were a stream comes into play and a par 3 17th hole over a pond.There are a coupe of holes with thescue which gives a partial links style look to the golfers. I enjoy the par 3 holes, some easier and some challenging.The entire course will allow players to use every club in the bag. The tees and fairways are in great shape, the bunkers are now maintained well and greens are moderate speed. I have played this course for fifty years and it is a gem of a layout. The pace of play is great. Our twosome played 18 holes in 3 and a half hours.The course offers a nice driving range $5 for a bucket of balls of 45 count,a very large practice putting green, a terrific head professional Steven Roach and his entire staff who are super friendly the moment you arrive.The dining area is name Tommy's Restaurant and it is owned and operated by the well known Vazzy's restaurant. It has great food! Great golf for a great price! Also, the club runs a terrific first tee program for kids each year. I donate as often as I can to give kids a chance to enjoy the game of golf we all love to play.Please inquire at pro shop on how to do so. Thanks to all at the Wheel as it is known!

Our foursome completed our round in four hours and ten minutes. The pace of play was good. The greens were the best of any course we played this year. The greens rolled like tour greens and the layout is great except for the first hole which is the starting hole and also the toughest to play and took the longest time to play.The fairways were cut down low and the rough was just a little thick. The staff is very friendly and we stopped in the clubhouse for a bite to eat and a drink.The course has nice ammenities which include a grass driving range,large putting green and a chipping and sand trap practice area. There is even a food and beverage cart girl making several rounds while you play. I would recommend this course to other players and our group will be coming back to play it again.

The red course has a links feel to it except for 4 holes.Even with recent rain the course was very playable and the starter greeted us in a friendly manner and instructed our group that it would be cart path only on holes 2. 11, &13 only. Otherwise, it was 90 degree rule while driving the carts to the ball.The red course has some easier holes and some challenging par 3's and par 4's. The putting surfaces continue to get better after recent airification. I think with warmer temps coming up will make the greens be in great shape. The course is ideal for those new to the game because the majority of the holes are pretty openly spaced! Our group had a drink in the Vazzi's restaurant after the round. I would say we had a fun day at the Wheel. We will play here again.

Our foursome finished our round in three hours and forty-five minutes. The pace of pay was great and so were the course conditions. The tee boxes, fairways, and roughs were all well manicured. The putting surfaces had decent speed and are just coming off the last signs of airification.There was evidence of golf maintenance workers helping to make the course even better. The layout on the black course has a terrific blend of holes from some easier while some very challenging.The head professional and staff at the Wheel are top notch being always friendly and on top of things.The practice putting green has great size to practice long , medium, and short putts before your round of golf. Lastly , the driving range offers a good deal for a bucket of about 45 balls for a cost of $5 only.I recommend players to play here , you will be happy you made the visit.

We played in a twosome and finished our round in three hours and fifteen minutes. The pace of play was great and the condition of tees and fairways were in very good shape. The greens are just about ready to heal from recent airification and they were cut the same day so the speed of the greens was quite good. Overall, the layout is terrific for a public course and the staff is awesome. The course offers a large practice putting green and a good driving range. The balls are $5 dollars for a bucket of 45 balls. I recommend players come visit the "Wheel" for a nice round of golf at an affordable rate.The Vazzy's restaurant has great food too.

Our threesome finished or round in three hours and a half.The pace of play was great and the course conditions were very good. The greens rolled out nicely. All in all a good day had by our group. I want to share with you something I never witnessed in person on a golf course.On the ninth hole we caught up to the group in front of us and we noticed that there was a player in the group who was blind and being assisted by a great friend telling him were the ball was positioned at his feet and what direction to putt the ball. It was amazing to see his results. Nice touch by management for enabling this person to share his passion for the game we all love to play.

The black course has a terrific layout and is worth booking a round.The staff is very friendly to the patrons and the course even has a ranger to move things along. The driving range offers a bucket of about 45 balls for a cost of five dollars which I think is reasonable. I will play this course again.

Our twosome played the front nine in just under one and a half hours. The pace of play was great and course conditions were a little wet due to rain. The black course layout is terrific and I would recommend playing it. The rain got heavier on the back nine so we decided to only play three holes on the back. However, my partner and I were both satisfied with our round and we would play here again.The staff is awesome and pleasant. The restaurant has great food too. I promise you will enjoy your experience at the Wheel. There is even a driving range with $5 cost for 45 balls to warmup before round.

The red course has a majority of holes which are link style golf. I love the course layout which offers a variety of different holes short and long. I recommend plying this course.

The course has a nice layout, fair but challenging.The course conditions were fine for early April 2019 round. A windy day and brisk but still enjoyable. Our foursome played in 3 and a half hours with a riding cart. Our rate was 30 dollars per player which was well worth it. I would do it again!
