This course is challenging in that the holes are compact so you need to hit the ball accurately but not overly so. Not many obstacles except a couple of holes where a stream crosses the fairway. This is especially good for a golfer who is an occasional player like me. However, this doesn't lessen the overall quality of the course. Despite all the rain Central Ohio has had, the fairways are nice and the greens are very well done! I feel any golfer, at any level, would enjoy a round here at Minerva!

New Albany Links is a well maintained challenging course with a multitude of bunkers and "hidden" streams. The challenge is to hit the ball straight or end up in a bunker or in the tall grass. The hidden streams are really more like low lying marshy areas that cross the fairway and that you cannot see because of the rolling terrain. However, if you play it a few times I'm sure you will know where they are!

If there is anything lacking it is the fact that there are no picture layouts of the holes on the hole markers or the score cards. A bit of a disappointment but nothing big. Lack of a couple of missing directional signs to the holes was one other minor inconvenience. Overall, a challenging and fun course!

The course is well maintained. The greens could be a bit smoother but are well manicured. The narrow, undulating fairways with bunkers and tall grass make it a challenge to keep the ball on target. Very few trees until the last two holes but that may be a blessing for some! Overall, a course to enjoy a nice round of golf.
