my round

The course was in relatively in good shape. Some of the greens were still a bit hairy from the overseeding, but that'll change. Very good pace of play. Hope the water levels of the ponds increase for the aesthics of the course

Gorgeous views!

Don't think that this is your typical par 3 course. The holes may look easy but you should know your game. The views were stunning and the course played very well. First time ever experiencing a special 'bonus' hole. Go play!

18 holes is better than 15

Ever since they added the missing 3 holes on the back nine making it a full 18 hole course, it's been a better experience. Sure... I think that this local course was designed for or at least used by many beginners. This course is the ONLY course I've ever played that offers Rule 5 which is defined by allowing a golfer to pick up an errant tee-shot that lands in another fairway an drop it in his/her own fairway without any penalty. There's a lot of that going on with "Fore" being yelled. The pace of play is dependent upon the groups ahead of you and whether there are 4 or 5 players... with the latter always taking more time of course. It's not a bad value for what it is. fewer par 3's it would be a good thing.

Good times for experienced players

This is a good course. It isn't easy and isn't expected that a novice or occasional golfer would have a good time of it, but for a weekend / experienced golfer such as myself and my group, it works just fine. It's important to keep an eye on your ball flight. While you may think it looks as if it's headed towards the middle of the fairway, it could very well hit and roll right into the barranca. That's no fun... especially when it comes to documenting your score for that hole.

The pace of play was great. It was a beautiful day and we were done in less than the typical 4.5 hours that you might encounter elsewhere.

Nice course... Short but somewhat challenging

If the course maintenance team were set loose, perhaps the course would not be do dry.

Almost always enjoy playing

We play here often enough and we know the course really well. While not always running on time, we encountered a very slow group of apparent amateurs teeing off from the championship tees. We got to tee off about 35 minutes past our scheduled tee time so that slowed down the pace.
