Eagle Nest Golf Club
Played On 03/26/2022Early season thin fairways.
Good layout, greens and fairways should be nicer when the grass grows in.
Mansfield National Golf Club
Played On 11/08/2020Nice place
Enjoyed playing, very good layout, greens were good, thankfully I played with some guys who provided the much needed local knowledge.
Old Brickyard Golf Course
Played On 11/07/2020Fun layout good greens.
Many interesting holes, with lots of elevation changes, some blind shots, but the greens rolled nice. Fairways and rough dry and thin, they should use some water from all the water hazards for irrigation.
Grand Oaks Golf Club
Played On 10/25/2020Greens very good.
Greens were very good, they rolled nicely, although a bit hard, fairways a little thin however.
Lay out pretty good, some wide open fairways, some fairways had creeks that made you consider what to hit. Local knowledge needed to keep ball in play.
Leopard's Chase Golf Links at Ocean Ridge Plantation
Played On 09/04/2020Do not play, unless it is free!
Greens were horrible! Fairways burned up, traps were so so. Like other reviewers, which we did not heed, this course has gone way down hill. It used to be fabulous, but they are not spending any money there. Staff mentioned the greens may come back in a month or so, but I doubt it. The greens were full of weeds or burnt to bare dirt.
Spend your golf dollars elsewhere.
Tanglewood Golf Club - Reynolds Course
Played On 05/03/2015Sunday afternoon round
Pace of play was slow because there was no starter or ranger and a five some was slowing the whole course down. Many calls were made to pro shop, and they finally sent the cart guy out to find out what was slowing things down but that was about three hours too late. Poor course management by the pro shop.
Course was in fair condition, greens slow but consistent.
The Club at Savannah Harbor
Played On 8/28/2013Great course across from River St Savannah.
Several of the holes you can grip it and rip it, with room to miss a little, but then if you miss too much, you will find trouble. Lots of strategically placed bunkers, with sand of varying quality, and other assorted hazards, like water, marsh, and trees. Several narrow holes which required well placed tee shots, and some greens needed very precise shot making. Greens where good, speed was a bit quick, grass fair, roll was true. Very attractive layout across the river from downtown Savannah. A short water taxi ride to the bars on River Street. Bring your bug repellent.
Great! Thank you for visiting us at Grand Oaks Golf Club. We appreciate your 4-star rating and review. We hope you join us for another round soon.
