Indian Bayou Golf Club
Played On 06/12/2023nice course
Very scenic with nice green pine tree lined fairways. The course layout sets up for a draw on the majority of the holes. There is water which can't be seen from the tee on several holes, but it is just a short section in most cases. The fairways are decent in width, but a stray shot off to the side into the trees is not playable and in most cases a lost ball. Bermuda grass fairways and greens. It was pretty windy when I played. On a calm day, I feel that this course could yield multiple birdie chances. Nice course and I would love to play it again. It would have been nice if a beverage cart had come around.
Kings River Golf Course
Played On 06/29/2014Nice little back woods course
It is by no means fancy. The fairways are grass and clover. The greens are slow but receptive to approach shots. Most of the par 4's are 300 yards or less but there are many trees and hills that require an accurate tee shot, often times with a hybrid. The lady in the clubhouse was very friendly and they provide little coolers and free ice to bring your own beverages.
I wouldn't pay over $20 to play this course with a cart but if I can get a good deal I definitely plan to play it again.
LedgeStone Country Club

Beautiful course, superb condition. Not an easy course and lots of hills but many of the hills tended to funnel the ball back into the fairway which was nice. The beverage cart came around four or five times during the round. All in all, very impressed.
The Pointe Golf Course
Played On 8/17/2013Nice layout but greens were awful.
I played this course many years ago and the conditions were pristine with incredible greens. This time the fairways, rough and tee boxes were in decent shape but the greens were awful. There was only a very thin layer of grass and dirt could be seen underneath. There were torn up areas from other golfers shoes literally all over the greens, very tedious to tamp all of them down to have a decent surface to roll a putt. Shots from the fairway with a mid iron or less would generally stop in a moderate distance but chip shots with my L wedge that on other courses will bounce once and check up showed no grip at all. Many chips could not be stopped in less than 30 feet of run or more if there was any slope at all, very frustrating. Repairing ball marks was futile. Using my tool, there was not enough grass to pull in to repair the mark. It just ripped through the dirt with the slightest pressure.
