Lewis River Golf Course
Played On 05/11/2022Up & In
From the first glance of the course It’s easy to see why you’d have to play it. Tee boxes are plush and level, fairways are manicured and ample and the scenery is to behold.
There are no “Tricked Up” greens or fairways to frustrate or slow the pace of play. If your walking you’ll not have highly angled fairways. What little up and down fairways you’ll come to are gradually angled.
Palo Alto Municipal Golf Course
Played On 05/22/2016Seven Par Threes
The course was well maintained, pace of play was very good and the front nine had me convinced of returning soon (and I'm from Portland,Oregon). Wide bail areas on both sides of fairway and the rough was player friendly. I was impressed. Then I made the turn. My appreciation of a friendly and well maintained, golf venue took a turn for the worse. Four par threes on the back nine!! I could almost understand the three par threes on the front nine but 4 of them on the back?? You have to be kidding me.
The course has been under imaginary construction for 3 years. I was told they have the new design layout of the totally new course to be built on the same site finished and they expect to see construction begin within the next three or so years.
I did like the course and will look forward to seeing the new course when finished, if I manage to live that long.

Mountain View Golf Club
Played On 1/09/2013Challenging but fair!
This course is just FUN to play. Generous fairways, large greens and well laid out. The signature par 3 12th is to be looked forward to. Not only is it a kick in the butt to play but it has a view that might just take your breath away.
Hood River Golf & Country Club
Played On 9/25/2012Catches your attention
The first time I played this course it was only nine holes but man was it a lot of fun. When they carved out the back nine it took on a whole new perspective.
I drive about 55 miles one way to play this course. I do it for one reason and one reason only, this course was laid out with the spirit of golf in mind.
Take the time, take the trip, and enjoy a great day of golf on a course you may not see anywhere else like it in the Pacific Northwest.
Evergreen Golf Club
Played On 9/15/2012Fun, Fair and Friendly
Generous fairways, tight lies and easy to walk or ride. Not a lot of tough rough but given a bad shot you can end up with an unexpected adventure. Greens play well, not too fast and pretty true to the reads.
