And they let 6 people in one flight play - first 8 holes took us 1h50m - no marshall what so ever….we left after the 8th with huge disappointment

Greens ok-ish, fairways fine, second cut horrible. You should not have bad luck concerning pace of play on a course for 69$! There was no marshall and we were playing behind a twosome of total golf ignorants! Loosig contact to the threesome ahead of them it took us four hours to play behind these two who e.g. were still on the T-Box when we finished our 2nd to last shot on the par four behind them! They were all over the place (and I am fully aware this happens to all of us from time to time, but then again it is a question of rules how long you are looking for each of your balls!). Rather spend same kind of money on Raptor, Corkscrew, Magnolia, River Hall et al. - but not in Sanibel where you have to pay an additional 6$ for the bridge!

Our foursome played behind a super slow foursome that did not care and due to not existing marshall was not moved. More than one flight behind them gave up......

Starter yes - Ranger no! We spent 4.5 hours behind a foursome that did bother more for looking after golfballs everywhere than to play a decent pace! Played the course before as a twosom in well under three hours......and btw the greens are unbelievebly s l o w!

Just excellent from Start to finish. At arrival the bagdrop-staff is very friendly and helpful. The same is true for the people in the proshop and the Starterin John is always in a good mood and has at any time the complete overvwiew. You have a question, just ask him! He's happy to help. Last but not least the course: Top T-Boxes, well maintained fairwais and superfair greens guarantee a fun round. We have played the course about Five times the last three weeks and we will play here again in our vacation. Thanks to all the staff at San Carlos who make golf a fun sport!
