Pruneridge Golf Course
Played On 03/29/2021Monday morning senior play
Good beginners course, or for moderate players looking to work on irons. Not a long course, 6 par 3s and 3 short par 4s. Course in decent shape with many tee boxes getting new sod. Greens roll nice but sand traps are not very well maintained. Aces, bar and outside grill is a very nice treat following the 9- hole round. Full bar and menu optiins

Nothing fancy or unique about Pruneridge. 9-hole course with 3 par 4 holes and the others par 3 and all extremely reachable with short irons. Perfect course for beginner golfers, families playing with young kids and elderly seniors. No carts - all walking and an easy one at that. Course is in good shape and majority of greens are without a lot of divet marks which can be frustrating for public courses like this one. Best part of Pruneridge is their newly remodeled and updated ‘Aces’ bar and grill with good food, unique micro brews and wine. Open now for outside seating with fire pit and large patio.

Celebrating a ‘big no’ this year, played with my wife and two gentlemen we did not know before today. Course was in average shape as typical, greens rolled well and pace of play was average. In front of us was a twosome and in front of them a threesome. 3 1/2 hr round probably could have been a 3- hr round (worst case). No amenities like prewrapped sandwiches, water on or off the course and only snack bars for food.

Played with my wife (beginner) along with Daughter and Husband - both good golfers. Front nine is challenging given narrow fairways and lots of trees/brush that make it difficult to navigate - especially for beginners. Holes 5 & 9 probably the best. Back 9 is far more open and easier to play/navigate. Tee boxes are nice and greens were all in good shape. Easy walk and great place for beginning golfers, young golfers and those that want to work on ‘short game/irons’
