Stonecrest Golf Club
Played On 04/17/2023Much Improved
We played this last year and the greens and fairways are much improved. This is especially noteworthy considering the lack of rain we’ve had. Staff is excellent and you can tailor your challenge with the different tees. Only niggle - no easy way to get something to eat or drink at the turn.
Harbor Hills Country Club

Great course but what really sets it apart is the incredible staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful and very nice. Cant say enough good things about them!
Whiskey Creek Country Club
Played On 11/12/2021Quick round
It's fine for what it is - a short par 60 that plays quickly. The tee boxes are chewed up - typical for a short course. The fairways are surprisingly good. The greens are so-so at best. It's hard to get true rolls. If you're paying full price, this is no bargain but if you're getting a discount, it's a good deal.
The Dunes Golf & Tennis Club
Played On 11/11/2021Good but pricey
Great course, friendly staff. That said, this is an expensive experience, especially if you rent clubs. In previous trips the range balls were included but not this time. I like the course but....
Beachwood Golf Club
Played On 10/06/2021Our Goldilocks course
This was our fourth different course in four days and by far the best. Greeted warmly by a cart attendant. Paid quickly and the starter got us off in time. Although he said there were yardage markers everywhere we saw precious few. That did make for a lot of guesswork coming into the greens, which were moderately quick and in good shape overall. Not much water comes into play but the sand traps sure do. The course played long as there was little to no roll. Overall a very good day.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. Thank you for the 4 stars! We aim for a 5-star experience, so we always welcome feedback for improvement. Thank you for playing Beachwood Golf Club.
Crown Park Golf Course
Played On 10/03/2021No southern hospitality
The good news. Is the course is in good condition The greens were really slow. The bad news is the pace was terrible - 5 hours. I guess this is a Myrtle Beach thing but it’s frustrating to pay almost twice what locals pay. This is the first time I’ve seen anything like that with GolfNow. And dont expect any love from the staff. The cart guy was nice but the pro running the shop was not the friendly sort
That day was very slow I admit but Sundays are ladies day which can lead to slower play. Depending on time of day you played I might have been your cart guy so thank you for the kind words.
Conley Resort
Played On 10/01/2020Perfect fall round
The course was not busy at all and we finished in 3 hours. Tees , fairways and greens were in great shape. First time we'd seen working ball wash stations all year!
Whiskey Creek Country Club
Played On 11/14/2019decent short course
Most holes under150 yards so draw your own conclusions. The guy taking my money was grumpy - probably not the first impression they're going for. The starter though was excellent. You can play in two hours if the course is pretty clear but otherwise it's a bit of a slog when there are a lot of regulars out.
Sanibel Island Golf Club
Played On 11/07/2016Could be a good course
It could but it isn't now. The conditions on the course are below average, which is a real problem on an island that draws a lot of higher income vacationers looking for a nice course. It has a lot of potential - the holes are interesting, challenging without being overbearing and the views are good. The price though is comparable with the other course on the island and that's a huge problem because the other course is top shelf. Price should reflect quality but in this case it's completely disconnected. Worse, they only offer a couple of discounted rounds each day despite the course being lightly played.
Pine Grove Golf Course
Played On 11/27/2015Worth the trip
The course was surprisingly good considering the time of year. Not very long or especially challenging but that's not a bad thing for the average hacker. One negative note - it was late in the year but if the course is open, the course should be really open. No one in the clubhouse to greet golfers, take money, etc. There were a lot of golfers out so it wasn't like we were the only ones there. Would have been nice to have a scorecard, especially since the signs at each hole were covered for the winter.
Pheasant Ridge Golf Club
Played On 07/18/2014A walk down memory lane
the course was great but the clubhouse and checkin process reminded me of the old days at the course when we left the greens fee in a cigar box at the house. The pace of play was terrible and is probably due to all the short holes.
Conley Resort
Played On 05/31/2014A long day
The good - the layout is challenging for the average golfer. The course was in very good condition.
The bad - the pace of play was terrible. It took almost 5 hours.
Flamingo Lakes Country Club
Played On 01/15/2014Great value
Course in excellent shape. The gps in the carts is a big help, especially for first timers like me. There is water but it's a good balance of challenge and playability. I played the whites and though it was shortish, it was challenging for the average golfer. Several holes are as good as. You'll find anywhere.
