Ventura Country Club
Played On 11/08/2023Good little course
Well maintained except for the tee boxes which they are working on. Best sand traps in central Florida!
MetroWest Golf Club
Played On 12/14/2022Improved
Greens vastly improved. Bunkers raked and most in good condition. Over seed makes the fairways acceptable. Rough area is sparse of grass in many locations. I hope they have a plan for the fairways when the over seed dies out in the spring. A giant step forward. Metro West is still one of central Florida’s best layouts. Keep up the good work please and the business will be there!
Providence Golf Club
Played On 12/07/2022Good Conditions
Well maintained. Great pace of play; about 3.25 hours. Cart lady came by at least 4 times in the round. Greens were in condition but a little on the slow side. Otherwise, everything was great!
Kissimmee Bay Country Club
Played On 08/17/2022Good Layout at a value price
Greens had some repair issues in part but did not affect play. Fairways in very good shape. Pace of play was excellent. Bunkers were damp but playable.
ChampionsGate Golf Club - National
Played On 05/25/2021GREAT COURSE CONDITIONS
Course in great condition. Started at 12:00 and played in 2 hours and 40 minutes.
Although the International layout seems to get all the acclaim, I prefer the National Course.
Great! Thank you for visiting us at ChampionsGate Golf Club. We appreciate your 4-star rating and review. We hope you join us for another round soon.

Played On 11/28/2020Soft/Quick Greens
Fairways were soft due to watering of the over seed. Greens were both soft and quick. Edges are slippery. Tough but fair test of golf. I will try the sister course for a comparison in the future.
Fantastic! Thank you so much for the great review. We are glad you had an incredible time, and we hope to see you again soon! Thanks for choosing ChampionsGate Golf Club.
Mystic Dunes Golf Club
Played On 11/21/2020Excellent Course
Great tee box positions from the blue tees. You can choose options to cut dog legs by going over trees or play direct to the fairway for a longer approach shot. White tees are straight forward with less shot making required. Green speeds were slower than average probably due to the recent accumulation of precipitation. Considering the undulations of the greens, slower green speeds are preferable. If the speeds were anywhere near 11, it would be unplayable for anyone but world class amateurs or professionals. Thoroughly enjoyed the course and the challenges it presents.
Great! Thank you for visiting us at Mystic Dunes Golf Club. We appreciate your 4-star rating and review. We hope you join us for another round soon.

Royal St. Cloud Golf Links - Red/White Course
Played On 10/24/2020Extremely Slow Play!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The play was very slow. I teed off at 10AM and finished at 3:40PM. 3 hour front nine and 2.5 hour back nine. My wife probably thinks I am having an affair. And it was no ones fault but management. This course was severely over booked. Foursomes from the first hole to the last. 3 groups on every hole. Raise your prices and increase the intervals in your tee times. The course was in good shape. And the staff is good as always. I know the snowbirds are back but you will get a bad reputation if this is allowed to continue.
Crooked Cat at Orange County National
Played On 10/10/2020Excellent Layout
After playing both Orange County National courses, I have to say I prefer Crocked Cat. Both courses are in very good condition as to be expected from Orange County National. Slightly tighter off the tee than Panther Lake, this course offers better aesthetics. Visually more scenic, rolling topography, and challenging doglegs is this course’s trademark. You can not go wrong with either.
RedTail Golf Club
Played On 09/26/2020Good Test of Golf
First time playing. Challenging from tee box. Second shot requires accuracy due to the vast bunker complexes protecting the front of greens. Play an extra half club; no bunkers at the back of most greens. Surrounded by wetlands. The course is bordered by housing. They are recessed back from the fairways. Very quiet retirement community. Greens are large, front to back, but present a small profile from the fairway; Left to right. I feel for the groundsman who have to maintain all these bunkers! Excellent layout that will truly challenge all skill sets.
ChampionsGate Country Club

Course was in very good condition and pace of play was good. Only draw back was no beverage cart person for a Saturday. I came prepared with my my 4 gatorade mini cooler which they allowed me to bring on the course after it was searched on two different occasions. I guess there is a drinking problem there. Again, overall, a very good course with larger greens and good value.
PS: I do not know if they allow walkers but this course would be very difficult to walk.. Way to much distance between tee boxes. With a cart, no problem. Enjoy the ride.
White Heron Golf Club
Played On 09/12/2020It has been raining in Central Florida for a number of days in a row; Thence; course was wet and balls plugged. Same story on all golf courses in area. I did not use any of the amenities. Greens were punched four days prior and I was aware prior to booking. Overall, the track is a good layout that challenges you to think on the tee. There are a number of holes were you have to lay back or you can decide to go for it. Truly, a second shoot course. Not much area to miss to left or right on a number of holes. Greens present a small profile but have ample space front to back. All bunkers were in very good shape. I will try to play again when the rainy season has ended and the greens grow out.
Providence Golf Club
Played On 08/22/2020Nice Course!
I went off at about 11:50 as a single. Only had 1 group of 2 ahead of me. I took my time and finished in 3 hours even though it was cart path only.
The positives: Pace of play was excellent; fairways were in very good shape; the greens are firm and quick and the sand traps are the best I have seen during the Covid era- Thank You. I know we are not allowed to have sand trap rakes but this is no excuse for some courses to completely abandon them. They can still rake them each morning and get the grass out. One course was so bad they told me at the starter station to take a free drop out of all sand traps! Really! I enjoy the challenges of sand traps. It is part of the game. Rake your traps. Again; Thank you Providence.
Negatives: No coolers allowed. I understand no one wants the frat boy wanna be’s to bring their fish coolers of beer! But, this is Florida. And it is summer. And there is no water on the course due to Covid. An exception is needed for health reasons. If not, provide complimentary bottled water like courses in South Carolina or cheap water, 2 for $1 if nothing else. Second: Cart path only. Fairways were firm but carts were not allowed on the course. Ok, I can accept this gladly if it culls the herd. A three hour round is what I have been dreaming of.
Overall, great course. Back nine reminds me of North Florida or South Carolina courses. Play it before “progress” destroys it with additional housing.
Sorry for the rant about other courses but it needs to be said. I look forward to playing here again. Thanks again.

Course in great shape as usual. Greens always in good condition or better. Staff was not as friendly as usual. People I have not seen before. Regardless, I here for the golf. All good.
Hunter's Creek Golf Club
Played On 08/16/2017Wet Conditions
Bunkers were full of water. Rough up probably due to water saturation. Fairways damp but in good condition. Greens ok considering wetness of course. Played from green (6520). Course is always a stern test of golf. Especially wicked to faders and slicers of the ball.
Sweetwater Country Club
Played On 03/13/2014Good value with quick play
Pro: Greens and fairways in good condition. Course was not crowded; 3.5 hour round. Friendly staff. Good price.
Con: Course was very tight in many places.
Overall: Strange layout. Par 4's are all short. Driver sand wedge. 3 of the 4 par 3's are long. 180 yards plus. The par 5's are all in the low 500 yard area. Generally, the course played shorter than the yardage compared to other courses.
Wekiva Golf Club
Played On 03/03/2014Worth the price
Pro: High number of dog leg holes, large well-kept green side bunkers, slight elevation changes, well conditioned greens, and undulated greens.
Con: grass is sparse off the fairway, no sign to direct to the 17th hole.
Overall: good price for the course. Courses that are wooded tend to have problems growing grass off the fairway...no problem just play preferred lie and enjoy your day.
Thanks for playing the New Ventura CC! Happy you enjoyed your round!
