I played this course on a visit from Rincón, PR last November and forgot my range finder in the golf cart. Upon a subsequent visit this spring I ask if a range finder might have been returned. Within five minutes Alberto brought the range finder wrapped in the a card with my name and tee time from November. This act of thoughtfulness is much appreciated.
As for the golf, the course is beautifully maintained. It’s a challenging layout with some tight tee shots and much water. Played from the correct set of tees it’s a fair test of a golfer’s skills.

A nice course to play in an area lacking many low cost options.. A challenging layout for better golfers but suitable for high handicappers.
The staff is very friendly and the pace of play around 4:15 - 4:30 hours.
I will definitely play there again.

With all NYC courses closed due to the “pause” this bucolic course in Belle Meade, NJ offers a beautiful golf experience for those New Yorkers looking for a place to play.
Playing in twosomes spaced sixteen minutes apart a three hour round is doable. The course is in great condition and extremely fair. Playing at over 6500 yards form the white tees the course is also a good challenge.
