Bowling Green Country Club
Played On 05/13/2019A nice, 9 hole course.
The course looks simple, but it challenges even seasoned players. I play in the Senior League and find it to have a good balance of tough holes and more friendly ones. The grounds crew does an outstanding job keeping the course in the best possible condition. The club pro is knowledgeable and helpful with first time golfers. Off course amenities are rather basic and do not include alcoholic beverages or prepared food.
Bowling Green Country Club
Played On 08/06/2018Great local course
Considerable effort has been made by the groundskeeper and staff to keep the course in top condition. Bad weather this year has made it particularly challenging. All in all, though, it's a very nice, 9/18 hole course, meeting the needs of the average golfer. Amenities are a bit light, limited to soft drinks and snacks. With the closure of the Forrest Creason Course at the University, this is the only local alternative to the upscale, more costly Stone Ridge Golf Course.
