We played this course a few months ago and it was terrible. The course still needs some work. Weeds in fairway and even on the greens. Bare spots and sandy spots on green.

Course was in good shape and we werent waiting too long. When we caught the 4-some on the back, they let the two of us go through.

Course was in fairly good shape as they get ready for high season. However, the cart paths are cracked and potholes abound. If they would repave the cart paths the course would look so much better.

This is one of the best courses I have played in SWFL. It is too bad the rate is tripling for high season. Guess I will have to wait till next Apr to go back. Enjoy.

The course is being worked on so there are squares of grass repairs fixing bare spots. Some of the fairways are very thin. Greens have some bad spots too. In the middle of the round it started pouring with rain, and was very windy. I got through it, but some shots were ruined with the unexpected moisture. Hopefully it will be better in a few weeks.

The course is in great shape and it was nice to see the pro shop, cart barn and restrooms finally in permanent position. Each time there are more houses being built and the course is maturing well. The greens were very fast today, but our 4-some had a good time, and were not held up.

I have wanted to play Sanibel Island for a long time. So I finally got a tee time that I figured would not be to busy at 1:15 pm. I was right, there wasn't anyone around. The staff was great and explained where everything was (water, restrooms, etc.) I got my own cart, loaded up my bag and headed out. The course had sand for most of the cart paths. There were little patches of grass for tee boxes, and the course was very close between holes. It was not what I was expecting. I thought it would be in great shape as we get ready for high season. The course was beat up, bald spots on the green. Workers were cutting down several trees and other brush. So maybe it will look better in another month. But it is not worth $60.

Played with a guy that was playing the course or the 1st time. It was wonderful because we had the course to ourselves. The guy seemed to like the course. It was in good shape. I like the added cart paths put in to speed up play (especially if it is cart path only). You could tell they were getting ready for high season.

We were able to get out as a two-some and didnt have to wait at all. Course is maturing nicely and many homes are being built. No permanent pro shop or restrooms yet, but they have water to take out and you pass by the pro shop trailer at the turn. So you can fill up again. Everything was great.

Played with one gentleman. We had people far enough in front, and far enough behind that we never really saw them. Course was in great shape and we finished in less than 3 hours. Had one of my best rounds there.

The greens were still a little bumpy from aeration, but getting better. Sand traps are terrible with wet or very hard sand. Will be better when it stops raining and rakes are brought back.

Course has several holes in the fairways and cart paths are only partial to show you the way to the next hole. The course is challenging but not too long. Greens were in great shape and very fast.

The course played very dificult with the fast greens and the large puddles in the rough from all the rain. Unfortunately we got caught in a downpour and lightening that would not give up. We did get a raincheck to play the course on another day. We will be back.

Course had been aerated so the greens were fast and bumpy. Rest of the ciurse was good or soggy because of all the rain. Our twosome was stuck behind a foursome. We were able to go through them on the turn and it was smooth sailing for the back nine. Overall a pretty nice day.

Played the course by myself and had to only pass through one twosome. Finished in 2 hours. The course has been aerated both fairways and greens. Used the 2 putt rule on the greens because the greens were too fast or too slow based on the aeration holes and sand. If you stay in the fairway, you won't find too much mud.

The whole course was aerated, but at least the course had lush greens and fairways to dig up. The putting was hard with the holes and sand, but we were notified in advance, and the cost was lowered on the hot deal. In a few weeks everything will be back up to speed. It is a tough course if you don't keep it straight. I probably found more than I lost.

Unfortunately there were multiple Lightening Strikes in the area, so our tee time was pushed out more than 90 minutes. We decided to get a rain check from golfnow. We will be back again.

Course was wide open for a Sun late morning. No one was pushing our 4-some until the end, but they were a 2-some that caught up to us. Course was in good shape, greens were okay. I would recommend the course.

The course did alert us that there were temp tees, but course was in terrible shape. Weeds on the greens. Weeds in some area in fairway, then other places bare. We playedbadly even though we had the course to ourselves. We should have figured when we went out at noon on a Sat and no one was playing. We won't be back until it is in good shape again.
