Course conditions were just okay for this early in the year

The course was is very good condition even after all the rain we’ve had. We played as a twosome in about two and a half hours on a holiday. Will definitely return.

This is a really nice course in very good condition. The only negative is the proximity to the land fill next to it and the occasional foul odor.

Even with all the rain in the area over the last 2-3 weeks, the course was in very good condition. However the pace of play was horrible. After waiting for almost every shot, when we arrived at the ninth (par 5) tee, there were five groups waiting to tee off. This after another par 5 on the previous hole. Isn't this the rangers job to see this doesn't happen?

They have repaired their mower and have cut the rough to a manageable length where you can not only find your ball, you can actually hit it. The greens were in nice shape also.
Kokopelli Golf Course

I played this course 2 years ago and was looking forward to playing it again. The conditions were much worse this time around. Also, service at the snack bar was very slow and they had run out of things by noon.
Shepherd's Crook Golf Course

Greens still show signs from fall aeration, otherwise in very nice shape. It was extremely windy (30 - 40 mph) so not as enjoyable as it could have been.
