Started us on the back nine for no apparent reason. Behind a slow foursome. At the turn, another foursome was there so three groups on the tee and no starter or Marshall. Nearly five hours and totally unnecessary if anyone paying attention. Very frustrating.

Not in great shape but good value. Lots of interesting holes and some nice views. Only concern is pace of play. Behind a slow group who seemed unaware they were a hole or two behind all day and no Marshall.

Nice course in reasonable shape but 5 hours is too much. One foursome held everybody up and no marshal. And none of the staff seemed at all concerned!

Nice course. Have played here several times. Last time was a bit disappointing due to pace of play. No starter and no marshal so a single, a twosome, a threesome, and another twosome. Very slow. Apparently getting ready for a tournament ??
The Country Club at Deer Run
Played On 03/01/2018Don't trust the layout as shown on the scorecard
Course is only in fair condition. More grass in some of the bunkers than on the fairway. Scorecard map shows #13 as straight. Actually an almost 90 degree dogleg left. Pace was excellent but we picked a hot, windy day so that detracted from the experience. Overall just a fair course.

Second time we played here. The views are great. Course is fun and in reasonable shape considering the lack of rain. Took over five hours on a Monday afternoon. It seemed the several groups we could see in front of us were all a half hole or so behind, completely unaware any one else was on the course and very nonchalant. No sign of a marshal .
