The layout of the course is lovely as it winds around marshes and water associated with the creeks and river in the area. However, being at sea level, even after some dry weather there were bogs all over the fairways creating a great number of lift, clean, and place situations as well as quite a number of unplayable lies. There was no run out of drives or long irons and quite a number of plugged balls in the fairways. The greens are quick; contoured and quick! Challenging certainly.

This course was a challenge for my bogey or slightly better game. Greens were difficult to read and speeds varied quite a bit (possibly a result of it being so early season). It is a Par 70 course so not very long but distances and pin placements made it a challenge. Lots of maintenance work going on: trees being taken down. I would like for the course to provide sand for divot repairs! If resources allow, some cart path repairs would be very nice, In general a good course to play at this price point.
