Played at 3:30pm and the course was wide open allowing us to play quickly. The course is very challenging and the greens rolled pretty well.

Top notch across the board. Played as a guest of a member of sister course Horseshoe Bend. The clubhouse is modern and has every amenity imaginable. The range and practice facility was great.
Lakeside was a beautiful course on a picturesque day. The course is not easy by any stretch. Plenty of narrow fairways or blind tee shots can present some challenges but I lost most of my strokes around the greens. You have to know where to miss and there were several shots that ended up just off the green and either caught a false front or rolled to the bottom of an elevated green making it a tricky up & down. The greens also presented their own challenge seeing as they were very fast and undulated. Despite the challenges, the course's beauty more than makes up for it. The holes around the lake were a lot of fun and they had some great par 3s.
Played Creekside afterwards and it was another tough challenge but it didn't seem to have as many unique holes as Lakeside. Still great conditions and many challenges but Lakeside was my favorite.
If you get the chance to play here, jump on the opportunity because its top notch in every way and difficult to get on.

What a treat! Played with a member and everything was fantastic at the club. The members were friendly and welcoming, the staff was helpful and courteous, the course beautiful and in great shape.
Course- Coming from Florida, the hills and elevation changes made this course a lot of fun. Fairways were good and greens were very fast but rolled true. Mixture of difficult and easy holes but the course was very fair with some good risk/reward holes. Holes 9 & 18 play as straight downhill par 5s and are a great way to end each of the 9s.
Club house/lounge - All of the members and staff were very friendly. The mens lounge was a great place to hang out after the round and watch sports and enjoy a good dinner.
All in All, I already told my friend that I will be making the trip back next year to play again. If you get the chance to play, don't pass it up.

This my first time playing this course. It was a fun and challenging layout. I look forward to playing another round there because there are a few blind shots that require some course knowledge. The greens were in good shape and one of the biggest challenges was being on the right level of the green. There were multiple tiers, some of which I you were on the wrong level, it was nearly impossible to get it close. Fairways were decent and could use some water but overall, it was a good Value for $60 in season on a Saturday morning.

Played on a Saturday morning, pace of play was good despite it being bitterly cold. Greens and fairways were in pretty good shape. Course layout is good with a mixture of challenging and easy holes. It was a fun round and a decent value. GPS units could really help on this course since yardage wasn't always easy to find.

Played on a midweek prepaid time for $27. The course was in very good shape. Greens were quick and consistent and the fairways were good for this time of year. Front nine was played in under 2 hours, but things slowed down on the back nine. The starter offered us to replay the front if we were in a hurry but we decided against it.

This course was a very picturesque course. The conditions were immaculate from every aspect. The practice facility was great and the club house was very nice. Get there early to take advantage of the range and putting greens. I played with what I consider to be decent golfers and it took us all a while to get used to how fast the greens were.

We played on a very windy day but I would imagine that because the course is not too far from the ocean, its always pretty windy out there. For starters, make sure that you choose the right set of tees to play from. The course is difficult enough so don't try to play from the tips unless you are a single digit handicapper (We played from the Blue tees#. As I mentioned earlier, the green speeds were very fast and unlike most public courses in Jacksonville so try to practice as much as possible. I had #and witnessed# many 3-putts #and even 4-putts) because a simple 5 footer can turn into a 10 footer if you are putting downhill or down wind. Like other courses, having course knowledge would help a lot and I look forward to playing again because you would know where to miss certain shots. Being on the correct tier on the green is important as well and I think the greens were where most of the shots were givien up. The greens, fairways, bunkers and rough were all in top notch conditions.

The staff was very friendly, one of our playing partners lost a wedge on a hole and called the club house, they sent an employee to try to find it for him and he was able to locate it and bring it to us without making us stop our round to go look for the club.

We played for about $75 and it was a fair rate for what you are getting. I personally have a hard time spending $200/round which is what it normally costs but if you can get a Golfnow rate of $65-$75, it is well worth it. Everything was a little inflated including the beverage carts but I guess that is to be expected when you play a resort course. This was a long review but I beleive the the course deserves its due. We had a great time and will be back to try to improve our scores.

Played on a Friday afternoon and was able to book a pre-paid round for $19/person. Greens were in great shape and rolled true. Fairways were in good shape for this time of year. Course is a little bit of a drive for me since I am over near the Beaches/Southside area but well worth it. We also received food and a draft beer after the round. We'll definitly be back.
