For a city owned course this course was bone dry like hitting off of concrete. Now I know we have had a heatwave and not much rain last 10 days but we are still way above average rainfall for the year. Come on water it some. Needed a hammer to get T in the ground to.

it was in awesome shape been a long time since I have seen this course look and play so good. Fairways and Greens were just perfect. Keep up the great work

Was in very poor condition TBoxes were so hard you couldn't hardly get a Tee in the ground. While we are on the subject of T boxes when we walked in to pay there was a sign that the T boxes were going to be getting watered. On a Sunday Morning you decide to water the TBoxes one of my group members was standing over one of the sprinklers watching me drive in the middle of my back swing ours turns on he got soaked our carts got soaked our wife's got soaked. Unbelievable. The fairways and greens were rock hard. Mind you our area has what you would call a above average rain this summer so much so I still haven't had to water my own yard. Not that we don't mind a challenge while playing but pin locations was pretty much impossible. We even took a picture of one hole it was literally 7 feet on the front side of the green. And 15 feet from the bunker on the right. A lot of the holes were front pin locations. Combine that with hard fairways and greens pretty much impossible. I have enjoyed this course of the years but it is going down hill fast. Really not worth the 39 x 2 me and wife cost to play. When 10 more bucks gets you to play really nice courses.

3 eighteen hole courses. We were to originally play the eagle course but had a screw up somewhere and a outing was ahead of us which would have put us behind on our tee time by 30 minutes or so. They did however switch us to the hawk and we were very happy about that. Things worked out fine. Only issue we had for as much rain as we have had the Tee Box's were very very hard and could hardly get your tee in the ground. The course itself was in great shape for a city run course... The Rangers were awesome as well

This course used to be very nice and has fallen to owners wanting to sell. All bunkers were overgrown and were ground under repair. Pace of play is what upset us more then anything the course was not crowded at all and for a holiday it was shocking. We were the only foursome on the course and although the course needs all the golfers it can get we got real tired of letting twosomes and singles through it took us over 4 hours to play when it should not have taken more then three with the very few players that were on the course. We let 4 twosomes and two singles play through trying to do the right thing but got real annoying having someone always wanting through.

Been a few years since we played it and will not ever play again. The sand traps were over grown with weeds so bad that you couldn't even see sand in most places. The greens in many places didn't even have grass. What a shame all the beautiful houses that are built on that course and have to look at all the over grown weeds everywhere. Oh and the sign was so over grown you couldn't even see where to turn in.

I would never expect on a Monday morning at 10am that we would be asked to start on the back nine and follow a senior league. 2 hours and 45 min to finish 9 holes we were so upset that my wife left. Sad part is once we finished the 9 holes and the seniors left there were two groups waiting to start the front 9 so was looking like a 6 hour round of golf no thanks again a Monday morning not a weekend . drove down from Dayton for this complete waist of time.
