Course has just been open a week and is in better shape than last years opening. Greens are slow as expected. Cart path only until Nov 4 then 90 degrees. Most expensive course in casa Grande but by far the best to play.

Good shape

The course is in the best shape I have seen it in four years. Started at 1400 and could not finish.

Great course

Course has everything. Great shape, houses do not come into play, great views. We need to drive 90 min to get there and it's worth it

Excellent for this time of year

This is our favorite course in the area but we did not expect such excellent conditions so early after reseeding. For those that have not played here, the front 9 is more or less normal. The back 9 is a true experience.as the elevation differences are a challenge.

Getting better

It still has a ways to go but the course is much improved with the new management and now is my choice of courses in the Casa Grande area. The greens still need work and the marshall needs to do better addressing slow people but overall a great day.

Much Improved

The new management needs to be congratulated. The course is in far far better shape than last year making it, in my opinion better that the other two casa Grande courses. Last year it was a poor course with a premium price. This year the course is much better and the prices are reasonable on Golf Now. Note that I did not give the off course amenities a high score because the restaurant is not fully functioning but I was told it would be by mid Dec.

Two different courses

The Milburn 9 was great for a golfer looking for something different than the normal prairie courses. Lots of trees and elevations. The Cartails 9 was more links type, with scrub. Both in excellent condition but we have had lots of rain.

I truly enjoyed the round. The course has no competitors in the general area so the price is a bit high compared to others but the reason for playing is that the fairways are wide so the course is very forgiving. I shot 4 under my handicap the first time playing it.

poorly mamaged

had a 114 tee time. Teed off 45 min late. this with a combination of very slow play means we had to quit after 14 holes. Reason for being late was there was not enough carts and we had to wait for the morning carts to come in before we could tee off. Otherwise a good course with friendly people. Lots and lots and lots of water.

Best course played yet out of 5

Played the south course. First nine has tons of water, second nine tons of sand. There were many places where the fairway had patches resodded and it was wet but this shows good maintenance aims. Views were great especially on the front nine. Only complaint is lack of diagrams on the scorecard. There are also no 150 yard "target" poles or any such market. I cannot remember ever playing a course that did not have some indication.

Great layout, poor management

Played twilight. Had to rush to finish. This is a very good course, many challenging lies because its all dunes. Greens are tough with lots of surprising breaks. Many 3 puts. Main complaints: If you are going to have a hilly course with hidden bunkers in the middle of the fairways, stop being cheap and put a simple set of diagrams on the score card. Score card yardages do not match yardages on the plaques on the TEE. Course needed water.
