This course has potential to be a very nice course as the layout is great and the course itself could be challenging. But money and maintainance is sorely needed. We only played here as there were no openings anywhere else.

The course is in great condition. The only issue I have is why charge for carts by the seat. There is only one cart needed so if I was by myself it would be 12.00 but because my wife road along in the same cart it ended up being 24.00. Don't get it.

We play this course on a semi regular basis when it is available. I just got back to 90 degree rule and in general in pretty good shape. Just wondering why especially on the part 3's there are a lot of bare spots when it we just overseeded? One of the guys I played with works on the ground crew at TPC Scottsdale and he couldn't believe that it had already been done.

Got an early tee time (6:52). My wife and I got paired with two very nice gentleman. Course is getting ready for over seeding so was dry and cut very short, but played it like a links course and it worked out fine. finished all 18 under 3 1/2 hours, a record on this course which is known for slow play. Great day.

Played here last week and other that the front nine beind slow, had a great day. Today, had a 7:17 am tee time and we do know that carts are on a first come basis, but we have never had a problem with the early tee times. They were our of carts as of 6:30 because of a tournament they were having. As I have had 4 knee surgery's, I have difficulty walking 18 holes. I just think that if they know they have a tournament scheduled, that additional carts from one of the other courses would have been brought in to facilitate it.

Started out a little slow checking in. They really need to put two people behind the desk. I felt bad for the one guy that was by himself. Front nine was really backed up but opened up no the back nine and had a great day.

Pace was definetly better than last time we played. The two we played with were enjoyable. Over all a good day

Always love playing here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The warm up areas are in great shape (driving range, putting green). The course was in great shape. There was a marshal that came around frequently to keep the pace moving. All in all a wonderful day. Great Job Coyote Lakes!

The day started with delays right off the bat at the first tee. We could tell it was going to be a long day as a couple of the threesome in front of us were hitting shots 50 yards at a time, but figured they were just beginers. The started told us to go before they were even on the green which half explains why things were getting crowded. Had to wait on pretty much every hole, but we could tell it wasn't the group in front of us as they had to wait for things to clear as well. So we knew it was somewhere ahead of them. Marshal shows up while we are waiting on the 6 tee box and we tell him about it and then we seen so one was on the green on 8 and no one was on the tee box. Pretty obvious the hold up was most likely on 7. We told the marshal that and thought he was gong to check it out, but turned around and went back to 5 for what ever reason. The threesome split up on the back nine and the one individual with them joined with the foursome in front of them so we now had a fivesome in front of us which I did not think was allowed. Between them that the group in front, we were waiting close to 4-5 minutes on each tee box. We finished up 14, the fivesome was still waiting to tee off on 15. So we bailed. When we got between 15 and 16, the group in front of them was still on the green so we tee'd off on 16. It took over 5 hours to play 17 holes. We went in the clubhouse and did some complaining to the girl at the front desk. When asked why the marshal wasn't around, she said he came back to help in the kitchen. Then she told us maybe this isn't the course for us which is real nice since we live here. Management really needs to step in and step up taking care of the place and well as running it like a real golf course that it can be. Very disappointing as not only do we spend a lot of money at this course along with living here.

Greens are getting in better shape. Still a bit bumpy but much better than in the past

Overall the course is in reasonable shape except for the greens. Looks like some kind of disease on most of them making them very bumpy and for unpredictable putting. They have been this way since it was overseeded. Get those fixed and it would deserve a 5 star rating.

Pace of play was real good. If they could get a handle on the greens, would have gave it 5 stars.

Had a nice round with my wife. We got paired up with a couple of gentlemen that were there just to have a good time and had fun. Course in general was good but the only reason I put fair under course condition was the greens. We play here frequently and it seems like from week to week they are getting worse. Hope something is done with them as the rest of the course is in good shape.

Still cart path only but the pace was just right that we did not have to hurry to get our shots in. Got paired with a couple of locals that were a bit standoffish at first but warmed up by the time we started the back 9. 18 in a little over 3 hours, pretty good even with cart path only

Things started a bit slow because of a frost delay, but by the 5th hole, the pace of play picked up and was perfect the rest of the round. The fairways are getting in good shape. The greens still are rough and if they can get that handled, course would be in great shape. Had a great day!

It seemed like this course always had tee times available so the wife and I drove by there a couple of weeks ago and seen it looked pretty nice so booked a round. Did not start out so good as all tee times were delayed by more than a half an hour because of frost, so when we got there the area around the first tee was pretty crowded. Once we were finally off, because of it being backed up, the front nine took a long time, but once we got onto the 9th hole along with the back nine, the pace picked up. Course was in great shape, just difficult enough to challenge you but not so hard as to be difficult to play. Will be putting this course on our rotation!

Had a large tournament that started the day. Not sure how well it was organized as by our 1:08 tee time (tournament started at 8) there were still parts of it going on which delayed the start for the general public which of course backed things up. With the exception of the people behind us hitting into us on 17 and 18, the wait was tollerable. Greens still need work as there are a lot of damage patches with sand filled in making the putting rather adventurous. Overall getting better.

Overall condition is getting better. Still a lot of bare spots and sand on the greens. Hope those get fixed soon.

It looked like the over seeding took and the fairways were in reasonably good shape. A few of the greens however had bare patches and most were really bumpy. Pace of play was a lot better than in the past. Overall, a lot of improvement since the last time we played here.

We play this course frequently as we live in Traditions. Fairways were ok, but what is going on with the greens. Several were in horrible condition, especially on 9 and 10. Is there any plan on maintaining the course? Along with the greens, a couple of large branches are down along the fairway on 9 that have been laying there for a while. Seems like ownership doesn't care about the course, just keeping it full.
