Come here if you like waiting on every shot and spending 6 hours on the course. Rangers are absolutely useless. Course is full of Grandpa’s playing two balls on every hole but don’t let you play through. Will not be back.

Favorite course in Cincinnati. Comparable to stonelick but half the price. Loved everything about our experience there. Will definitely be back.

Had a tee time for 18 holes but upon arrival I was told we had to play the front nine twice because of a league. My partner and I get to hole one and there’s 2 groups in front of us so it was already backed up. The group in front of us was so slow that it took an hour to get through the first three holes. I called into the clubhouse and asked if we could have a refund, to which they said yes. When I got to the clubhouse I was told they could not refund me, but instead just gave a rain check, but only for 9 holes. That was my second and final time playing cedar trace. Poor management and nobody enforcing pace of play. They’re clearly just out to make a buck!

We got to the first hole and there were 3 groups ahead of us. The pace of play was so bad it took us an hour to get through three holes. I called and asked the clubhouse if we could come in for a refund and they said yes. Upon getting back to the clubhouse they said they could only do a rain check for 9 holes. This course is clearly just out to make a buck. They are also not following covid 19 guidelines. Ball washers are still on the course, water fountains open, and only 2 carts allowed per foursome.

I booked an 18 hole pre paid hot deal for 3:00. Upon arriving to the course I was told I would “maybe” be able to get 9 in because they had leagues starting at 3:30. I asked for a rain check and the guy at the desk went to get his manager. The manager was extremely rude and not at all accommodating. I can see why this course has become what it has. That will be my last visit to Avon fields.

I worked on a maintenance crew at a golf course during my college days so I’m usually the last person to write a negative review but this course was in terrible shape. Every tee box on the course consisted of dead grass and/or hadn’t been cut in weeks. The fairways were in horrible condition. Multiple times we couldn’t find our ball on the fairway until looking deep into what seemed like crab grass. The staff was friendly and the food at the turn was good, but I wouldn’t come back for more than $15. It was clear that this course doesn’t have regular maintenance.
