Majestic Springs Golf Course
Played On 04/26/2021Good Course, Great Value!
Love this course. It is beautiful, well laid out, and long enough to be fun but not too challenging for an average golfer like myself. Definitely no frills but that is reflected in the $29 green fee. I will say I like the covered patio for food & drinks at the turn. Lots of shaded seating, and the food was great! Awesome value for this course!

I’ve always heard great things about this course and they were spot on! Great layout that was challenging but fun! The course is located inside of a beautiful neighborhood. Brand new carts were awesome and even came with bluetooth and speakers if you’re into music while you play. Staff also took great care of us. Well worth the green fees, I will definitely be back!

This course is a bit of a drive but I think it was well worth the money! Course was in pretty good shape other than a few spots on a green or two. Not an overly challenging course, very open fairway with plenty of grace if you miss the fairway. There are a few holes with near 90° doglegs that require some thinking and most of the par 3’s are fairly long so that’s nice. All in all, I think this is a great course for the money and would definitely play again!
P.S. My cart was fast so that’s always fun!
Lakeside/Meadows at Shaker Run Golf Club
Played On 09/06/2017Not what I've come to expect....
I have played Shaker Run 5-6 times over the last year & generally I would consider it one of my favorite courses. Their Lakeside 9 is BEAUTIFUL & the Woodlands 9 is challenging & offers some unique and fun holes.
When I booked my reservation, I did not realize I was booking for the Woodlands/Meadows courses. Once I realized I decided to just play anyway because I enjoy Shaker Run & have never played the Meadows course. The Woodlands was nice as usual however it was extremely soggy. We have had some rain recently but not enough to create this much mush on the course. The real disappointment however was with the Meadows 9. The bunkers were atrocious. They were filled with rocks, grass, and standing water. There wasn't a grain of soft sand on the course.
I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from playing the Lakeside or Woodlands courses but steer clear of the Meadows course. It was definitely not worth the $40 green fee.
