Willodell Golf Club of Niagara
Played On 07/10/2018Challenging par 3's
Very well maintained course which offers good value for the money.
Port Colborne Country Club
Played On 05/16/2015A traditional course with tree lined fairways.
An enjoyable course in very good condition. Tree lined fairways with many dog legs and good sand bunkers. The greens were a bit slow the day we played, but in good shape otherwise.
Legends on the Niagara Golf Course - Battlefield
Played On 11/05/2014A great golf course!
The weather was cool and windy and the course was wet due to recent rainfall, but still a great venue. We got a great deal via Golf Now and it was worth every penny!
Hunters Pointe Golf Course
Played On 10/09/2014Well maintained course with several very challenging holes.
A very good golf course with many interesting holes. The 9th and 18th are great finishing holes, and it is fun to sit on the patio and watch groups come in. Water comes into play a number of times on both holes.
Beechwood Golf & Social House
Played On 08/13/2014Well maintained course with several very challenging holes.
A good golf course with a number of holes where you can run up a big number in a hurry. Well maintained fairways and greens. Friendly staff and good food in the bar/restaurant. The only complaint would be with the traps which contain dirt as opposed to sand.
Whirlpool Golf Course
Played On 06/30/2014Great layout, well groomed course.
This is a well established course with many beautiful holes. Very well looked after. The greens are still recovering from winter damage, and not up to snuff yet, but still quite playable.
Willodell Golf Club of Niagara
Played On 10/22/2012Well maintained layout with great par threes.
A good golf course which is well looked after. The par threes are particularly challenging. Vey good value. Yesterday's round was very slow, about five hours. For some reason the management allowed a number of twosomes to go out instead of matching players up. On the back nine we waited on every tee and on most shots into the green. There were two twosomes ahead of our foursome and a foursome in front of them, so things really got backed up. Several groups behind us quit after nine, presumably because of the slow pace of play. I have played here a number of times and this was the slowest round yet.
Bridgewater Country Club
Played On 09/13/2012A very enjoyable course to play with tricky, well maintained greens.
It has become one of my favourite courses in the Niagara Region. An interesting, but fair course which would challenge players of all levels. The greens and fairways are in very good condition. My only negative comment is that the sand is not very good, but if you don't go in it, it doesn't matter.
