The good: Nice layout, challenging holes, friendly staff, nice clubhouse, excellent restaurant and bar; the bad: poorly maintained course, excessive geese droppings, and raggedy weed filled bunkers. Conditions notwithstanding the course was fun to play..

My two friends and I purchased a round on Golfnow, prior to play we were warming up on the chipping range, then out of nowhere the professed owner (Sam) emerged filled with hostility and venom yelling and screaming at us seniors to get off the range because he claimed he wasn’t making any money off of Golfnow and therefore we couldn’t use the putting and chipping ranges. He was belligerent, demeaning, and the whole episode was humiliating. When we asked for our money back he refused. Needless to say we elected not to commence with the round, instead we contacted Golfnow who provided us with credits for future rounds at courses of our choosing. I was particularly hurt by this incident because i played the course hundreds of times over the years, spent countless amount of dollars on non Golfnow rounds as well as on food, beverages, golf balls, and apparel. Moreover, I promoted the golf course to many of friends, acquaintances, and organizations, therefore it pains me say that I don’t plan to ever set foot on the Wetlands Golf Course again.

Challenging course requires use of all clubs. Many holes require carry distance from tee box, long par 3s, fairway bunkers, etc. Course is in as good a shape as can be expected for late fall, the day I played it was cart path only because of the prior days rain. Some of the holes are stretched out and a requires an inordinate amount of time to drive to.

We'll maintained course, even fairways, tight greens, diverse holes, nice layout, great value.

Pace of play was no problem, played alone on a weekday during the early afternoon, completed 18 holes in 21/2 hrs. Liked the GPS carts which also has the capacity to keep score, order food, and alert you as to where not to drive. Liked the driving range. Overall, the course was nice and of good value.

Fairways and green well maintained. The fairway on the seventh hole needs alot of work, grass is thin and patchcy. There were no rangers on the course to regulate pace of play. The course is reltively short and flat which makes it ideal for walking. Overall the course is average.

The fairways were in good condition. The first cut was a tad high, lost a few balls that should have been find-able. The location of the 17th tee box was confusing. I played in the early afternoon on a Wednesday and i had the course virually to myself so pace of play was not a factor. Overall the course is above average for the value.
