Overall, this is a fun course with a retro feel. The staff was outstanding. Loved the seclusion of the back 9. There were a couple quirky holes, but that's the fun of playing near the mountains. Some of the tees boxes do need some love (water). It was hard to get a tee peg in the ground.

$30 isn't a bad price, but the course is in terrible shape. The rough and other areas have not been mowed in a long time. There are plants growing in the grass! The greens are also a mess. They were aerated 2 weeks ago according to the pro shop, but I don't know how they are going to recover in the near future. They really need to put some work in get the course back up to par.

With a little more TLC this course could be great. The course is not long, but it does have it's challenges with water on most holes. You won't be hitting driver off the majority of tees as the course stresses keeping the ball in play. Overall a very good course for the price.

The course was in pretty good shape, but the greens had been recently punched making putting difficult. One would think there would be a discount for this, but since this is Northern Virginia, this is par for the course.

Good course overall, but not too challenging.
