Loved the layout, the conditions and the practice area. Can’t say enough good things about the course.

My friend and I arrived about one hour prior to our tee time. As somebody who works as a starter at a golf club, we always appreciate when members and guests show up early. Well, not at the Renaissance club. Sorry, you will have to wait for a golf cart. Yes we have them available, but you can’t load your gear up until 30 minutes before your tee time because we don’t want you sneaking out on the course? So stand around with your equipment until then.

I’ve played this course on and off over the last 15 years. It always had a very challenging layout and was usually in decent condition. This year the conditions on the course unfortunately have not been good. One gets the feeling that management is just not putting the money into the maintenance of the course. Ropes down piled up on the side, ball marks on the greens are terrible, lower lying wet areas not roped off just getting more and more dug up, just a lot of little things that add up to a not so great experience.

Love both the North and South courses. They are among the most challenging in the Cochella Valley and always fairly priced. Keep in mind that the predominant break is towards the Salton Sea.

Built years ago with the intent of having a full community included, this course sits on its own with nothing around it. It could be maintained better but overall the on course conditions I would give a 6.5-7 out of 10. The clubhouse is a bit tired but the course was a challenging layout and in good playable condition. Greens were smooth and bunkers maintained. Can’t beat it for the price. In my opinion one of the best overall values in the Valley.

I play this course often as it is my home course. Conditions are usually very good with some very challenging holes. Course is known to beat even some seasoned golfers up because it is not forgiving. Water in play on 11 holes. Several greens have steep slopes to them. Several holes are on boundary fences so out of bounds comes into play. This is a shot makers not a bomber course. A course you can play over and over and not get tired of.
