Pace of play today was awful. Just over 5 hours. There was a senior tournament they told me but they played in 3-dimes.
It should NEVER EVER take this long. Luckily I like the course and people so I’ll be back but will monitor this going forward.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Very nice staff. Course was fine ...some tough winter rules lies but if you move it a bit, no real issues.
Nice layout of holes back side especially.
We had fun. I’m a 4 my buddy an 18. Good time.

Nice people, great bar room food etc. nice views from patio.
Good value for the money. Not difficult course but certainly good enough to knock the rust off.
Friars/Presidio at Riverwalk Golf Club

3 nine hole courses. Outdoor staff excellent. Practice putting green virtually useless. Idiotic hole placements. I’m here often to practice as well as playing and putting green is stupid. Friars course fairways beat up pretty bad. Mission and Presidio were nice and fair greens were nice. Friars greens were tough and very fast. Wrong side of hole and it wasn’t going to work out well.
Last bit on this was it is too expensive for what you have here. Friars very poor shape, all thx courses closing soon so I think money not going to be spent on it. 2 years and it’s done if you ask me
