Played twice recently. Layout is excellent, if unusual; back to back par 3s on each side, for example. Greens are slow and the course needs a bit more care, but there is a lot to be interested in here and the price and pace of play are very attractive.

I have played this course many times. It has never been in as poor condition as it is now. Tee boxes are weedy, fairways overgrown, and the greens....It looks like they are trying to make them smaller but some are patchy with dirt, some long and slow, others burning out and fast. The practice area is as bad as any around.
There is hardly anyone playing and in some ways that seems intentional, when $40.00 is the standard greens fee in the summer. The west course was sold to a developer several years ago and I would not be surprised to see the same fate for the east course. Too bad. It's a nice course with a challenging and interesting design but it is not worth playing at the moment.
