The course was in pretty good shape, just little things not so kept up. Some greens were eaten up. Fairways were good. Some of the nicest folks ya will ever find. It's a driver's course, nice layout. Hit the ball straight- ya can score.

This course is in a crazy condition right now. Haven't been able to play this year for injuries. Last time I played they were just starting with new superintendent-WHAT A JOB!!! The fairways will not be matched in Oklahoma-anywhere. The greens are excellent, even the ones they lost are now showing beautiful tracking for such short rooted grass. It can only get better with this care. Congrats, all of you should be very proud.

After reading the reviews I didn't expect much but it was better than the reviews. I don't live in FL. but have played here some. They do a lot with what they got. Not sure what some folks think they should get for their money but this place is good for the price. Interesting layout for a short thing. Lots of sand and water, good greens, enough grass even the drought to find a decent lie. Well worth the trip and an enjoyable day and round of golf.

It's an okay course/deal. They were top dressing and aerating so couldn't get a putt feel, but hey-It's a decent way to begin the year working a tad on iron play.

It's an okay course. I'll presume they have very limited funds to work with. After the rains of October you'd maybe expect a bit better, but ya never know what a fella has to work with.

It was okay. You can usually see where Surrey Hills is trying to make things better every year, and they should be commended for that.

The layout of the course is a bit weird. The greens are gone. The fairways are decent. The rough don't matter. This has been a private ownership club open to the public and the owners have not been willing to spend any money to keep the course up. I understand it has now been taken by the city and that 'should' be a boon to this course as I'm sure they will understand they MUST spend to make income, so maybe next year this course 'may' have a chance to be better...?...

Quite probably the best staff in the universe...Gail is an outstanding hostess/staff person as she has always been I am sure. The course itself is in perfect shape and you can see as you play your round that they are attempting to do more aesthetically also. They are very proud of their greens and they certainly should be as they have country club level greens or better and fast as glass but very true to ball travel. It's easy to see they take their golf course seriously as it is in top shape and considering the area as a dry environment(Western OK.), they do a grand job. I totally enjoyed my day even a long drive to get there to play their golf course. Their hospitality is top notch and I don't take that lightly-I admire that. I would recommend this course to everyone and you will enjoy your golfing experience-I promise. I don't get out to Western Ok. often anymore and it's easy to forget their kind and serving ways. They are a compliment to society.

This is hard because I love this place, BUT it is in receivership and the bank has used Quail Creek Country Club as management through the process...That's a good thing and a bad thing. The day I played is the last day of the season for the course as they are tearing out all 18 greens as I write this. It was maybe the worse infections of greens as I could ever imagine, BUT the course is close to country club caliber excepting the greens. From a business point I cannot see this course ever being a viable business enterprise. The infrastructure and economics simply do not work for the area and as familiar as I am with the area-It never will be profitable--sadly. There has definitely been a lot of money spent out there and a few expensive houses are built, BUT you would need economic psychiatric help if building there is on your mind. This is hard to write as this is one fun course to play for sure and in very good shape excepting the greens and they are fixing that for next season. I will go back next summer when these new greens are rooted in and continue to go maybe once a week until the gate is locked for good. Love it out there--sadly.

Had heard very little about this course, just its existence. It looked pretty good when I drove up. I was shocked by the almost excellent condition, the comfort in the layout, and the views on this out-in-the boonies golf course. I HIGHLY recommend this course to anyone who loves golf, you will enjoy your day here. For a public course, this one is right up there with some of the best around. I was shocked--Happily.

Played this course once before. They have had some recent rains and it shows. The course is in good condition, nice, soft, and green. They do a lot with a little here at Turkey Creek.

This little course is okay, they are continually/slowly attempting to make it better all the time. The wind kind of dictates a lot out there as it is a prairie golf course with few trees. Course gets a lot of play though as schools use it also for tournaments and play. I think they do about as good as they can with what they have.
