Ken McDonald Golf Course
Played On 02/10/2020Traps
The fairways are green and cut short so you get lots of roll. Sand traps are huge and have adequate sand in them. It would be helpful to have more than one sand rake in each trap since they are so large. Greens are generally consistent. Lots of geese on the water hole so much goose crap on the greens @nd fairways.

Fairways are green. Greens are a little rough but generally good. Pace of play was good. Some sand traps need a bit more sand!
Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club
Played On 01/23/2020Two different games
The fairways and greens are in great shape. Greens are hard and extremely fast. Greens are undulating and huge. Hard to miss them but staying there is a lot more challenging. Almost need to land short and roll up on the green. The front nine has wide fairways and you can let the big dog eat on most holes. Sand traps need some more sand as many are hard and difficult to shoot from. The back nine requires target golf as a lot of holes can’t use a driver ofF the tee box. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our round was 4 hours so the pace was great.

Played On 01/22/2020Lush fairways
Course had lush fairways and challenging greens. Good pace
Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Links Course
Played On 01/20/2020Poor pace of play
Tee times are booked every 6 minutes so the pace is very slow. 4 hours to finish 15 holes when darkness set in and we were advised the cart was to be back to the clubhouse by 5:45. Fairways are lush and the greens are very challenging. Played on a Monday holiday where pace was slow and no Marshall’s were to be seen. We played the links course and hole ten was very difficult to find.Local walkers directed us to the tenth. Many times there were people walking dogs on the cart paths further causing slower pace of play
Dobson Ranch Golf Course
Played On 01/17/2020Slow pace
Greens are rolling and difficult. Fairways are green and lush. Roughs are brown and rolling
Pace of play was ridiculous! Tee time was 25 minutes late and there was no frost delay. Tee times are booked too close.
Kokopelli Golf Course
Played On 01/09/2020Poor fairway conditions
This course has narrow fairways that are hilly and undulating. Even a straight drive that lands on the fairway has trouble remaining there as the ball almost always rolls off into a grasslesss rough! Recent rains have left many water filled gullies that although it seems an attempt was made to pump them dry still are present with anew obstacle still in place.....a large deflated hose! The bunkers are either filled with water or are muddy or are hard like a brick. To even suggest they are sand traps would be a joke as they contain very little sand. Tee boxes are uneven in many places and some need repair. There is a bag drop ,but it is a long way from where the cart return is found so be prepared to carry your clubs to your car a far distance when you are finished your round. Did not see a drink cart or any workers on the course trying to improve conditions. Holes one and 18 are beside the driving range and driving range balls litter each hole...some white some yellow.....so you would be wise to use a different coloured ball on each of these holes. This is not a course I could recommend to anyone at its current condition!
Ocotillo Golf Club - White/Gold
Played On 01/01/2020Lots of water
If you play here, hit them straight or bring lots of balls. There is water on almost every hole and a lot of it cant be seen from where you are shooting . Leave the retriever at home because once in the water, it’s gone for good. Greens are fast and undulating. Tee boxes need work as they are often not level and some short holes they are in tough shape. Not worth the money unless you get a hot deal.
Las Colinas Golf Club
Played On 12/23/2019Good Challenging course
Fairways are lush and cut quite short which allows for a lot of roll. Greens are in good shape and undulating. Carts are gas powered and have no gps Tee boxes are level and decent
We appreciate you leaving a review and rating us. We will inform the entire team, so they know their hard work is paying off. We look forward to having you back at Las Colinas Golf Club!
Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills
Played On 12/21/2019Good executive course
Green are in great shape. Fairways are green and rolling. No par fives and some tee boxes are close to previous greens. Great learning course
Coronado Golf Course
Played On 12/18/2019Better fairways
The greens have a few rough spots and the fairways are much improved and being watered. Pace of play is very good. No waiting on any hole. Poles are now up along hole 9; adjacent to driving range so although there are a few balls on the fairway but way fewer than before the new netting went up. Work still needs to be completed on netting and poles at the end of the range, but usually doesn’t present any issues.

Monte Cristo Golf & Country Club
Played On 11/19/2019Flat decent course
Some challenging par three holes some surrounded by water. Flat course with coarse grass fairways. Lots of random trees that can be trouble sometimes. Greens are in decent winter shape. Good value for the cost!
Monte Cristo Golf & Country Club
Played On 11/06/2019Good economical course
The greens can be somewhat mini golf like if the pin placement is the same as today. Fairways are wide and flat so the ball gets lots of roll. Several holes have water hazards making some of the par threes a challenge! The course plays relatively easy as long as you keep your ball in play. Overall, the course provides good value for your green fee !
Coronado Golf Course
Played On 03/20/2019Rough Greens
Greens are somewhat brown! Almost looks like fertilizer burn. Fairways are greener than they have ever been. Three holes are littered with driving range balls as the fence that was started two years ago is not completed. Wear a helmet! Good lighted driving range.

Coronado Golf Course
Played On 03/18/2019Easy short course
Greens are a bit brown almost like they have had a fertilizer burn. Fairways are much greener than last time. Hole nine is still an issue with range balls scattering all over the fairway! It’s time some work was done to finish the nettinmg since they have been working at it for three years.

Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills
Played On 03/15/2019Good executive course
Greens are in great shape, Fairways are lush and green. Lives up to its name Rolling Hills so shots require accuracy as the roughs are desert and Stoney!
Short executive course
The fairways are green and lush. Greens are well manicured, undulating and large. There are only 4 par fours on the course with the remainder being par 3 holes. The pace of play was very slow today. 4 hours for 18.
Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills
Played On 03/08/2019Nice executive course
Course was in great shape! Pace of play was very good. Finished in ljust over 3 1/2 hours. Holes are close to som3 tee boxes and you need to watch for errant shots as you tee off .
Continental Golf Course
Played On 03/06/2019Slow pace
Round on this executive course took over 4 hours. Booked T 12:30 with Golf Now and received an email confirmation for 12:30. When we arrived at the course, they had us booked at 12:37. Tee boxes are humped and in terrible shape. The greens are in good shape as are the fairways. Pace of play was so slow. The course books alternating tee times every 7 than 8 than 7 than 8 mi utes apart........could be the reason for slow pace.
Cave Creek Golf Course
Played On 03/05/2019Pace of play was 5 hours
Greens are challenging and in good shape. Fairways are green and lush albeit a bit narrow. Tee boxes are hard @nd need water to soften them. Very difficult to get a tee in the ground on some of them. Bunkers are brick hard and need new sand or to be worked up to soften them
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. Thank you for the 4 stars! We aim for a 5-star experience, so we always welcome feedback for improvement. Thank you for playing Cave Creek Golf Course.
It's like $30 in the afternoon...
