Boulder Creek Golf Club - Coyote Run/Eldorado Valley
Played On 10/20/2022Great course, horrible pace of play.
A beautifully conditioned course with all the amenities. However, all that was ruined by letting two fivesomes in a row play. The starter said it was allowed because they were “professionals”. Professional dancers maybe but not professional golfers. I saw some drives that didn’t get past the ladies tees.
Shoshone Golf & Tennis Club
Played On 06/01/2018Challenging course
I play Shoshone a few times every year. The course is in the best condition I’ve seen. It’s not a course for beginners. It’s very challenging with some tight shots required accompanied by elevation changes and uneven lies. I enjoy the friendly staff and the relaxed and rustic atmosphere.

We played early on a Friday, the course was in great shape, there was no waiting and the young man who checked us in was super friendly.

Played On 04/28/2016Challenging 9 hole course
This is a hidden little gem. A fun and challenging 9 hole course with great views in the Silver Valley of Idaho. I walked 18 holes and it was a quite the workout. The greens were pristine but the fairways need some attention in spots, but it is early in the season. It's a nice varied layout with a lot of elevation changes requiring good shot making. If you hit the ball off line a lot, expect to lose some balls. Overall, it's a fun course for the money.
Stoneridge Golf Course
Played On 07/16/2015Beautiful day, beautiful course
This is a really enjoyable course. A pleasant mix of challenging holes and scoring holes. Of course I may have been influenced somewhat by the weather and scenery. It was a perfectly clear, sunny day, surrounded by gorgeous mountains. Temps in the mid 70s and you could see for miles!
Priest Lake Golf Club
Played On 07/09/2015AJ
We got a discounted rate to play during the hottest part of the day. The front nine layout was pretty straight forward but the conditions we not that great. The fairways were dried out and hard. The back nine was an entirely different situation. The layout was trickier with several blind shots. But the condition of the back nine was excellent. The fairways were pristine and the greens were true.
Galena Ridge at Silver Mountain Resort
Played On 06/16/2015A Most Scenic Round of Golf
This is one of the most scenic courses you can play in the Inland Northwest. The course runs up, down and along a mountain ridge line offering outstanding views from every hole. Don't think about trying to walk the course, even 9 holes, unless you are in great physical condition. The course was in outstanding shape. The fairways were well groomed and the greens ran true. But if you can't keep the ball in the fairway, expect to lose a lot of balls in ravines or high grass. The staff was friendly but the amenities leave a lot to be desired. The pro shop is a trailer and the driving range is pitiful. Regular green fees are pricey but you can find discount prices if you shop around. I've played the course a couple of times and I'll be going back.
