The course is what I expected from a city course. Wide fairways, and not too punishing. Fringe areas were iffy, but the greens and tee boxes were good. The greens were a little slow, and the holes were cut days ago. You can tell the course has limited resources to keep it fresh, but overall, they do OK.

Yea, the sand traps are a joke. Wet and sandless. The greens are average and unpredictable. And the cart paths are both perfect and like a roadside bomb at destroyed them. BUT, the rest of the course is a gem, and a really hard gem to play. This courses downfall may be that it is too hard to play for the average golfer, but I still really enjoyed it! I also get the impression that the staff is REALLY trying to make it better i.e. there were more people working on the course then I have seen to date at other courses. I will play it again, as soon as I reload my ball bag!!

That's what this golf course is asking it's management. I cannot rank this course above a three because of the dry conditions on the tee boxes and the fairways. The staff was great, the starter was the best I've come across. With some water and TLC, this could be a four star, but apparently I will need to invest in metal tees to play this course again.

First couple of holes have blind tee shots. Some later holes are pretty wide open. You kind of get it all here. The layout is a five star, the course conditions i.e. some tee boxes and fairways knock it down to a 4 star. Greens were good, sand was fair. Looking forward to play it again.

Overall, this course is worth the 22.50 you pay for it. But no more than that. The front nine was above average in length. layout, and value. The back nine had four holes that were not worth a penny. They would qualify for a disc golf course, but not for a real one.

As a yearly visitor to this area, I got this course recommendation from golfers I played with at the U. of G. golf course... and I was not disappointed. Tight fairways, open fairways, long par 3's, short par 3's.....this course seems to check off all the boxes. So, don't be fooled by the Country Club title, you need to work the ball here, use all of the clubs in your bag, and look forward to the next hole!

Fair to midland course. Short in length. Fairways not distinguished from rough. Up and down. Fair golf course for beginners....not so tough for the low handicapper. It's all about raised tees and greens that make this course more difficult to score on. The greens are small and flat, but slanted. No. 9 is a par three with a tree covering the front of the green, and your approach shot? Very little sand.

Played a 4 star course in this area two days prior, but this was one was even better. 6500 from the tips, because it is a more mature layout. It has it all, elevated tees, elevated greens, narrow, but fair fairways. Three wood or driver off the tee is the biggest question. Just the right amount of bunkers, and they were in great shape. The biggest plus on the course were the Bermuda greens...fast and firm and rolling. Stay below the hole! Older gas carts were the only downer, but I was there to play golf......and it was great.

Country club feel. Course in great shape, except for recently aerated greens, which were also hairy. Wiould love to play again though. Great value through GilfNow.
