I played here yesterday and choose to come back today. So, that tells you what you need to know about my thoughts on it.
One complaint. Probably due to heavy rains Wednesday, they did not move the pins today. I played EXACTLY the same course two days in a row. What's up with that?

This was a great first experience. The course has interesting hole shapes, not just out and back. Some high risk/ high reward shots where you try to reach a par 5 in 2 by cutting off some yardage. But you risk a sand trap. The trouble is generally visible (I hate hidden hazards, so unfair) and my only complaint would be that the sand is fairly coarse. Pace of play was outstanding for the front nine, but then we caught the field and it was more like 2:20 on the back. Not awful, but kind of meh. I recommend and will return at some point

Played on a Saturday, 8:30 in the morning. Got paired with two guys who knew the course, which definitely helped, as with any new course. Conditions were good and pace of play was very good. I would say that we played in 4:10. The bermuda grass gave this northerner a bit of trouble and the bunkers were somewhat wet, making sand play difficult. Greens were in nice shape. Staff friendly and I would definitely repeat.
