Greens were fast pace with some sloping pin placements making for good putting technique. One of the best courses in the area. Recommended when you’re here.

Condition of the course was expected for the price paid. Pace was slow because of the foursome in front of us with 2 singles in separate carts and questionable ability.

The greens were almost all crowned and fast. Better stay below the flag to have a chance at par otherwise you may roll of the green. They were the most difficult part of the course. Many had bare spots from disease?

Third time playing but the fairways and bunkers are deteriorating. Will not play again this season.

Greens were perfect. Fairways could use an overseed. Some slow players ahead but an enjoyable round. Will play again.

From Pro shop to the restaurant everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Not what some of the reviews I read previously.
Course is a hidden gem compared to some in the surrounding area.
I will certainly play here again.

Although it was CPO the pace was excellent. Fairways and greens in beautiful condition despite the recent rain.

Very windy & cool but the pace of play & course conditions made the day. Fairways damp from the rain which stopped any run out of drives. Greens were perfect.
On a hot dry summer day this course would certainly be on my list to play again!

The best course in the Niagara Region without exception. Course conditions of the fairways & greens were immaculate.
It would be a shame to see this sold and developed for housing.

Played Saturday of a long weekend but course was almost empty at noon tee off. After a few holes we realized why.
Bunkers were unplayable & not groomed all year. Fairways were extremely wet despite not having rained for days. Best part were the greens & the pace of play.
The owners have opted for housing development over the John Daily signature golf course. Because of this the holes have been rerouted from the original design for housing & a high rise. They are currently trying to get approval for more development by filling in the surrounding wetlands.
In my opinion they have ruined a good course & attraction for Niagara Falls.

Great layout. Greens had been aerated a few weeks ago so they were somewhat inconsistent but playable. could have used more sand and rolled again.

Front nine was very slow as two elderly members were late for the tee time and moved very, very slow every hole. The starter warned us about this twosome prior to our round and apologized saying that they would only play 5 or 6 holes, This was not they case so we asked them to play through on the 11 hole.
The rest of the round was perfect and very enjoyable without waiting 10 minutes on every hole to tee off.

Cart path only the day we played but the pace was good.
Any level would enjoy this course.

Best course I have played in Florida this year that is under $100.
Recommend Deer Run to any golfer!

Only the greens that had been aerated a few weeks ago so not consistent.
Recommend you try it out.

For an executive course it has some interesting par 4's.
Greens were inconsistent but playable. If you want a good warm up round I would recommend this course for your short game.

I was in a hurry to book at the last minute. Had not played here for years but was looking forward to the round. If I had read the last three reviews I certainly would have chosen one of the Niagara Parks courses instead. I agree with all their statements regarding the conditions of the course.
There has not been any upkeep from the tee boxes, to the bunkers and green with so many ball marks they are almost unplayable. Where are the maintenance staff as these conditions have existed for some time??
If you are a real golfer spend your money at another course.
