Palouse Ridge Golf Club at Washington State University
Played On 09/14/2019Challenging, but fair
At Palouse Ridge you can count on the course to be challenging. The fairway's landing areas can be high on the risk/reward ratio, but they are fair. If you like the drive, chip, and putt routine golf course, you might want to chose another course. If you enjoy using every club in the bag during a round, this course is for you. I play this Palouse Ridge several times a year and have always found the course in excellent conditions from tee to green. The course is designed for competitive college golf play, and is highly ranked in that category. If you want a fair and challenging golf experience, it well worth the cost. Expect to be challenged.
Gamble Sands Golf Club - The Sands Course
Played On 09/05/2019Genius
Don't let the travel time discourage you. The course is well worth it. The fairways are perfectly groomed and the greens are even better. The entire layout of the course is genius. The risk/reward is 10/10. Definitely a course worth playing at any level of experience. I played the course last fall and wish I had more time to play it again. I'll make this an annual golf outing, and I'm sure you will want to do the same.
Colfax Golf Club
Played On 08/24/2019Small-town fun
This is a fun, small-town 9 hole (you can play 18 with different tee locations) golf course. It's always in playable condition. The pace of play is excellent, as the course is rarely crowded. It's a great course to have fun with your family and friends. The price is excellent. They have rental carts and a small practice green, but no driving range.
