Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I was followed around the pro shop like I was going to steal something. I was playing as a single, so I ask if I was paired up with someone. I was told no I was playing alone. I noticed that there were groups in front of me that didn’t have 4 if I could join them to keep pace of play on the course up. I was told no we don’t do that here and there was no room for me. That I would have to play as a single behind 8 groups of 2 and 3 people. I asked if I could get range balls, I was told no at 220pm because the range closes at 3pm. Everyone else was told the same. On the website there is not posted time of when the range is closed. Many people arrived early to be told they couldn’t hit. Behind me the head clubhouse guy let a group of 5 women play together. Course is beautiful but due to the staff I will never come here again.

Course ran out of carts came around asking everyone playing to give up their cart. Course is full of weeds and clover. Mold on greens. No cooler for drinks. Course triple booked tee times took 6 1/2 hours to play 18. They charge $90 to play and have a $20 work ethic. Do not play here. Layout is amazing. Hopefully they sell to Boyne, and it can get back to being a golf course.

This place is a dump. Everyone’s yard is in better place than this place. Cart broke down I had to walk back to the clubhouse to get a new cart. They wouldn’t even come get me.

Everything was perfect about the course and staff except they don’t sweep the dew off the greens in the morning. Range is also closed on Monday morning which isn’t posted on the website. I wouldn’t have made the tee time for 710 on Monday if I knew those things.

No beverage cart, no one in the “club house” to get a drink from, no drinkable water on the course, place let’s 8 some play, the course was either a swamp concrete or no grass, cart had a bad axle, I don’t have anything positive to say about the course other than it could be a decent place if they fixed a lot of the issues mentioned

The course is not worth $295 they charge to play it. Half the holes are right beside a busy road which becomes distracting trying to concentrate. The layout is not a mountain type layout that one would think. It’s in between mountains and does not have much elevation change you would think it would have. The layout is a simple design and holes are right next to each other. Carts nothing special and do not have gps which ever other course that charges that much does have. Drain system is not good. Water on the greens and fairways were mush. This is the worst of the 15 top 100 golf digest courses I’ve played. I’ve played courses for $40 that are better. Not much of a club house. Driving range is down the road. Practice green was not the same speed as the course. They try and talk you into getting a caddy which is annoying. A lot of rich people that are slow, can’t play golf, and like their clubs wiped for them after every shot play here.

Be prepared for a long day on the course. Many players that come here probably should be hitting the forward most tees. Mold took over some of the greens. The layout is a typical northern Michigan type course. No beverage cart. Cart gps is not correct distance. Driving range balls are tore up.

Course was so backed up the starter had me tee off 40 min after my tee time. Stuff all over greens and divoiots every where. 6 hour round of golf. No cart girl. One person working the snack bar took 20 min to buy a bottle of water. Workers have no golf edicate towards golfers. For the price your better off playing some where else in the Lansing area.

Don't waste your time or money. Staff is rude. Pace of play 4 hrs for 9 holes. Grass hasn't seen a mower in who knows how long. Neighborhood blasting rap music that you can hear the who time on the course. Drunk guys playing shirtless. Worse golf experience of my life.

Be prepared for a 5 hr plus round. Every person that can't hit a ball 5 feet plays here. It's also like a war zone on the course golf balls flying all over the place. Course is extremely short from the tips.

Greens were full of old divots. Fairways had dead patches of grass in them. Golf maintaince staff has no golf etiquette. Ranger won't tell his slow buddies in front of us to let us pass. Had to wait on every shot. Pro shop is a sorry excuse for one.
