Nice layout. A couple of trees need to be removed that are literally in the fairway. Greens are in great condition.

The course is in decent shape. Enjoyed the challenge however, the pace of play was horrible. I've played at Rio a few times and the wait times at each hole are horrendous. If you decide to play here, you can count on over 5 hours, and more than likely closer to 6 hours to complete 18. Appears the place is overbooked or walk-ins are slotted in between scheduled times. Not sure what the problem is but the delays per hole are pretty bad. The place itself is nice, staff is friendly but something has to be done about the slow play.

Played alone on a Friday afternoon. Other singles in front and behind me. All kept up a good pace. Completed round in just a little over 3 hours. Enjoyed the layout. Lots of sand dunes but not much water to contend with. Will definitely play it again.

Not sure if they overbook tee times but the past few times I’ve played Rio they are out of carts. This delays start times and course backs up horribly. Took close to 3 hours to play front nine. A little over a 5 hour round. No rangers to help push the pace or more carts to keep up with the tee time schedule. Nice layout but come prepared for a very slow round.

Good value course. Would recommend it to fellow golfers.

Course is a good value. Condition of course is getting better.. Some tee boxes need work but you can tell that improvements are underway. Greens are in good shape. They could use a few more carts as they tend to run out on busy weekend play. .will definitely play Rio again1!

Played this course a couple of years ago and it was in need of a little TLC. Decided to give it another try today and what a pleasant surprise. Greens were excellent, some of the best I’ve played on a public course. The new cart paths were a significant improvement. I could go on and about the updates. The course is not easy by any stretch, lots of trees, long fairways, water hazards……a good test of your golf skills. Will definitely return and recommend to fellow golfers.

Course is in very good condition. Aside from the construction on the back none the overall experience was excellent.

Enjoyed the course. Greens were in great shape as well as most of the fairways. Several tee boxes were under repair but s/be ready soon. Staff was friendly, especially the fellow working the carts and bag drop. Keep up the great work!!

Course is in good condition. Fairways and greens are well maintained. The front is fairly wide open. Mis-hits will take you across a fairway but playable. The back is somewhat less forgiving. Overall, it was a good experience. Would play it again and recommend it for golfers looking to try a new challenge.

The fairways were bad. Hard pan throughout. Tee boxes were also in poor condition. The track itself was excellent. I did enjoy the extra yardage on drives due to the condition of the fairways. Many of the greens were also in poor condition. I did notice construction of new tee boxes on a few holes so there may be a restoration plan underway. I can only hope!!

Fairways were very nice. Greens are coming along. Challenging layout. Narrow with trees and plenty of water. Will definitely go back.
