Flew in, excited to play another Donald Ross course.. course had not been mowed in a while and it was noticeable. Where any mowing had been done the clippings were left all over the course. So sad to see a Donald Ross classic treated this way.
Tee boxes had been over seeded and over watered and grass was 3 inches long.
Biggest mistake was scheduling a morning tee time.. 4-some of members in front of us (we were a 2-some). Took 45 minutes to play 2 holes, and it wasn’t because they were that bad.. it was Rough only and no one would walk to their ball across the fairway until it was their turn, inconsideration at its best.
I was very disappointed.. talked to the starter as we were leaving.. told him this, no offer of a refund or anything of the sort.. will not go back.
