Course had recently been aerified but putts still rolled fairly true. There was a group ahead of us that being quite slow, but we still finished our round in just under 4 hours. Love the layout and greens that are larger than many of the other courses in the area. Always a pleasure playing this outstanding, well-manicured, track.

Love playing this course. The layout is challenging, yet forgiving.

We started playing Turtle Run because of a Juniors Tournament on the Deer Run Course. Then, it started to pour and I lost my 5 iron into the pond between #5's green and #6's tee box, when it flew out of my wet hands, teeing off on #6. Was unable to retrieve it as it was just out of reach, in the middle of the pond. We could see the end of the handle sticking out of the water, about an inch. But, when I came back from the cart barn with some rope, it was gone. Hope to retrieve it before too long.

Love playing here. The 160 mile round trip, is worth it. Course is always in great shape, greens always putt true, and layout is challenging, but fun. We battled wind all day, and still had a wonderful round; finished in 3.5 hours.

My buddy and I, play here on occasion. We take turns driving, as it's about an 160 mile round trip from Englewood. The course is always in great shape and the layout is challenging, yet not extremely difficult. This time, we had a threesome ahead of us, that was a little slow yet, we still finished about 5 minutes under 4 hours. We both love playing both Sun N Lakes courses, and have a difficult time trying to choose which one is better. So, the long drive is definitely worth it.

Would have rated 5 stars, but the front nine was frustrating because of the twosome in front of us. They were annoyingly slow. Thank goodness they stopped playing after nine.

Played after heavy rains the previous night, but course was in great shape with only a few cordoned off spots. Greens rolled true, fairways were great and the afternoon was pleasant. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend Turtle Run, which we played, and the other course, Deer Run.

Course was in great shape, except for the tee boxes. That's the reason I gave it a 4 star overall rating. Greens were beautiful though. I definitely will play here again.

Loved playing Esplanade again after a few years. Everything about the course is top notch. The layout is challenging, yet fair. Fairways, rough and greens are always in great shape. Although the greens were somewhat fast, it was just a matter proper judgement on the speed.

Second time playing here. Love the layout. Very challenging, yet fair if you play smart golf. Hazards are strategically placed and fairways are wide enough for high handicappers like myself to find a safe landing spot. Greens are still a little hard, so approach shots do not hold much. Tee boxes are still extremely hard, but I'm sure with some aerating, that will be remedied. Once that is taken care of, I will raise my "Course Conditions" ratings to a 5. Highly recommend to all golfers. You will not be disappointed.

The course layout is great, but conditions were less than desirable. Fairways were not in the best condition, and the greens were fair. Perhaps it was due to a lack of rain? Don't know as we travel 80+ miles whenever we play here. We enjoy the ride through the country, getting here. We still enjoy playing the course. If you don't mind playing a less than pristine course, it's great, for the price.

Would have given an overall 5 Star rating, but the pace of play was terrible on the front nine. Had two twosome ahead of us, slowing everyone up. Other than that, I love playing here.

Had not played Deer Run in over two years. Playing Turtle during that time. The greens have been changed since we last played Deer. They were like the felt on a pool table, and a very dark green. Extremely fast, but they rolled true. The course, as usual, was in great shape. The weather was mild and we basically had the course to ourselves most of the round. Too bad we both played terrible. Still...we enjoyed our round. Highly recommend playing here. We travel about 80 miles to play these courses, so either we're crazy, or really love them; I guess a lot of both.

The course was in excellent shape, except for some of the tee boxes. That's the reason I rated the OVERALL and COURSE CONDITIONS, at 4 stars. Fairways were very well kept and the greens were beautiful. I definitely recommend Coral Oaks to anyone wishing to play a tree lined, risk-reward, challenging track.

1st time playing. Just opened a few months ago, so still a work in progress, but all in all, a very nice course. Greens were a little hard, but punching them will take care of that. I recommend this course though, the layout is great.

Enjoyed playing the course. Greens were in good condition. Fairways were maintained nicely. Had an enjoyable, pleasant day on the course. Played it under 3.5 hours. I was surprised at how nice the course was, since we paid under $25 to play.

First time playing since 2011. New ownership, and course was in good shape. Enjoyed our 3 hour and 15 minute round. Greens were in great shape, and fairways were nice. Will play there again, for sure. Great prices on Titleist caps in pro shop...$16.99.

Playing here is always a pleasure. Challenging, yet a pleasure to play. Greens were in excellent shape; rolling true. A couple of cart path only holes today due to heavy rains, but in great playing condition overall. Would definitely recommend to other golfers.
