Played On 12/06/2019Good choice but fairways could be better maintained.
This golf course could be one of the best for everyone to play in Florida. The boxes are fine and the greens are excellent. But the fairways need to be maintained in a better way. Cleaningness on the golf course is good and carts are good. The semi and bunkers can be better. But go, play for fair price and that give money to maintain and give a chance to do better. Most courses lack of money.

The course is in good condition and nice to play. Bit slow green but in goos shape.
Thank you for your kind review and we're extremely happy you enjoyed your round but we do apologize that the greens were a bit slow for you. We've sharpened our mower blades and the over-seed has come in nicely so we're able to cut them back at our normal height for the rest of Winter. We hope to see you again soon!

5 years ago Timacuan got new greens and the course was perfect and value for money. Today it is a trash course. No staff, greens bad an to fast, fairways unacceptable, boxes in big minus. There was one guy offering club cleaning after 18 holes. He should be going around and do some significant job. The grass is terrible and un maintained. Go somewhere else.

MetroWest Golf Club

This golf course was normal excellent. But the April 6th it was like that it didn't have had a maintainance or watering for years. Don't spent money into Metro West. Fairways had many type of grass, Boxes all disaster broken tee in 1000 all over. Greens where terrible. Driving the course was like offroad driving. It´s sad to see how short time it take to ruin a golf course.

I have played Wekiva often and the course is OK for less money 18- 27 max. NO WAY PLAYING AGAIN FOR 45 USD
