THE PLACE IS A HEALTH HAZARD DUE TO MOSQUITO PROBLEM.. Management chose to sell bug spray and turned a blind eye to the issue. You cannot stand on the tee for more than 3 seconds without getting surrounded by mosquitos, then they will surround your cart and wait for you. It was a terrible experience, such a shame for one of the best city public courses. The borough president should intervene and close the course until the mosquito problem is no longer a health hazard.

Good course conditions, layout is average, staff friendliness is average, off course amenities are limited , and the grumpy lady at the bar usually ignores paying customers who are trying to get the promotional drinks. A little smile and have a good round would be nice.

Good layout , fantastic landscape, excellent greens , the course is of average length , it requires accuracy of the tee, and good approach shots into slippery but true greens ! Enjoy

Lido beach ??? What beach ? There is none there ! In fact the ocean is on the other side of the main road, 8 holes by mosquitoes infested waters, nearly 6 hours round, crabby starter, no fairway because it was so dry , the greens were the highlight of the course , in summary, definitely not worth the money, mosquito bites , even while using bug spray!, and a 6 hours round! I know you may be wondering why did I stick it out , simply cause I had driven an hour to get there, and I just kept hoping it got better since it was my first time there..

I arrived a few mins late due to traffic , the staff at the clubhouse was friendly and accommodating ! , however , the starters who are was riminiscent of the movie " crankie old man ", he asked me to skip a few holes and joint a couple who were already playing , I joint them and disturbed play of others I was passing , then the play was slow and no rangers to advice people on speeding up and keeping pace , it was truly horrendous !, such a well designed course , just a little more supervision and friendliness from starters and missing rangers and this " wild turkey" would have been and enjoyable and challenging experience !,

Nice course ! Offering challenging par 3, long par 4, and rewarding par 5 , where going for d green in 2 can result in a challenging bunker shot ! The course is in average condition and the staff was ok, too many people teeing off at the same time , and the pace of play was about 4.5 hours
