This is though classed as a 18 holler it is the same 9 holes played twice. This is not a problem but finding the holes were at times challenging there was little in the way of signage and it took some effort to find our way around the course. he greens were very good, well maintained and extremely fast

Though it was Autumn and there were falling leaves everywhere the ground keepers seemed to be doing their best to remove leaves from the fairways and greens. The course is very open to the elements being on the valley side so I should imagine in less favourable weather it could be a bit raw in late winter but overall a great course.

Ok so I know we got this at a good rate and I know you take pot luck on the courses played however to turn up and be told you are playing temporary greens due to maintenance seems a bit cheating like. The 'temporary greens were appalling, the tee's being in a better state than the 'Greens'. Some of if not all of the fairways were like playing in a ploughed field. On the plus side I would suspect when you are playing the proper greens the course could be quit nice but our experience was less than pleasurable. We just feel cheated we didn't get a decent round of golf. Some of the Tee's were difficult to find and were not clearly marked.

Three of us played this for the first time, The car parking facilities are good and its just a short walk to the Pro shop. It was a warm but breezy day and was perfect for golf. The greens are superb and well maintained and though the fairways were suffering from the long spell of weather without rain they were also in good condition. I would play this again but reading other reviews I can understand why it is wise to stay away in less favourable weather as some of the paths look like they could become mud baths.

An average course, holes a bit confusing especially finding the 8th Tee as it was not clearly marked and the course card showed it on the wrong side of the trees. Overall though nothing bad to say or spectacular either, just and average course. The green keepers seemed busy though so it is looked after. I would play again at the right price
