enjoyable.... first time out

Got the season off to a start and played the Beddoe course. It was not busy so pace of play was great no waiting. Course was in good shape - fairways were nice but rough was a little high and the greens were a bit slow. Enjoyable round.

Bone dry

Fairways were extremely dry with very little brown grass. Hitting off the fairway was like hitting off concrete. Only positive was that the ball would roll a long way. Greens were ok as they were taken care of and watered. Better condition of the fairways would improve playing experience.

Perfect!

Got a late Tee time on Canada day. Started at 5:30 and finished at 8:30. Few people on the course and we were walking. No waiting. Beautiful weather 30c,very little wind. Course in decent shape. Fairways cut, greens firm but a little slow. Tee boxes ok. Rough is tough to get out of, if you find your ball. Overall an enjoyable experience.

putting challenge!

Very good enjoyable round....weather was great - a little bit windy, hot but not overly humid, pace of play was very good. Cart person came around a couple of times. Fairways were in decent shape with a few wet/soggy areas in the back nine. Some tee boxes were a bit bare and you had to tee off on bare ground. Greens were very fast and pin placement a challenge, making it very easy to roll your putt off the green and hard to stick your approach shot on the green. Overall - quite enjoyable!

finished just under 4 hrs

Pace of play was good, we completed our round in just under 4 hrs with some hackers in front of us (2 groups). We played from the blue tees (6440yds). The marshall did a good job of keeping things moving along. Course conditions were decent with some soggy areas. Staff were friendly and refreshment cart came around several times during the round. Overall enjoyable.

Amazing value in Collingwood area.

A wonderful course with challenges for every level of player. I played white tees (6300yds) as a single 8:40am with cart and was able to finish my round in less than 3 hrs. Was not rushed. Was allowed to play through three groups (one threesome, one foursome and a twosome) - they all followed proper golf etiquette. Course was in great shape, nice fairways and greens - well manicured. Once you go off the fairway - forget looking for your ball - you'd never find it. I like this course and will definitely be playing this more regularly in the future.

another enjoyable round

Booked as a single but paired with two other singles. Turned out to be quite an enjoyable round as the other players were also decent golfers with similar handicaps. Played from the Blue tees. Course was not too busy and we were never waiting on the tees. Cart person came around several times during our round, as well as the marshall. Course conditions were good - fairways cut, greens true. Weather was also calm but not hot. Still a lot of construction of new homes around the course. This has affected the layout a bit over time - some for the better and some not. Overall, still my favorite course in Collingwood area. Recommended.

decent round

Played late afternoon and it was quite enjoyable as there were very few people playing - no one to hold you up. Finished the round in under 3 hrs. First time at this course - layout was good, but from blues the par 3's are all 200yds. Couple of 500yd par 5's. Fairways was in decent shape as were the tee boxes. Greens were a bit slow. Will return again if I get a good deal <$60.

enjoyable round at 6pm

Decided to get in a round after work - booked for 6pm but was able to tee off at 5:50pm. Front nine was wide open once the twosome let me pass on hole #3. It was fairly windy and that usually makes for a challenging round on this links style golf course. There are no trees to so you have to compensate for it. Fairways were in decent condition, tee boxes were also in decent shape (I played from the Blue tees on the front and the Black tees on the back nine). The greens were a bit on the slow side and in need of mowing. It is unfortunate that may golfers do not repair their ball marks on the greens. There were many pock marks and unrepaired ball marks left for the "next person" to repair. Cart person came around a couple times and announced when it was her last round so you could purchase your beer or water - it was still around 32C. The early golfers are usually more serious about their game and follow proper etiquette, but you take your chances when you play later in the day, where you can encounter the "hackers" and those new to the game and still not aware of the proper rules and etiquette. All in all, I was still able to get 18 holes completed (the threesome ahead of me quit on hole 15). A decent course that offers challenges from various tees and depending on the wind conditions. Recommended.

We played on 1 SEP 2017(Friday), pace was very slow. Worst is Marshall "Jorge" asked golfer behind us to hit driver while we are still at fairway. Ball land 8 yeards in front of us. Jorge said that's only way to speed up the game!!!

enjoyable

Played June 2 early morning. There was a tournament scheduled for noon and course was not busy. Play moved along nicely and the conditions perfect. The fairways are in very good shape and the greens were rolling quick and true. The ground staff were busy on the course but very accommodating and stopped when we were on the tee or hitting shots. I really like this course - it's always in good to great shape and the staff are polite and friendly. I played the White tees since it was my first round of the season, but if you really want a challenge play the Blue tees. The Gold and Black tees are for low handicappers and professionals.
I recommend this course.

CHALLENGING COURSE

The Masters course may not be as revered as the Legends course, but nevertheless it is still a challenging layout with many bunkers, several doglegs, varying elevations. Several holes you have to play target golf to get par and then you can attack other holes. A good experience. Recommended.

Good challenge all round.

Nice layout with some long par4s and par3's. Can be very challenging from the tips or when it's windy. We played early at 7:20am and finished our round by 11am. Fairways and greens were in fairly good condition considering the hot weather. Highly recommend playing this course if you're in the Winter Garden area.

great value for the money.

This is one of my favorite courses in the Clermont area and I always play a round or two here when I'm in town. The course is wellmaintained and the greens are in good shape. Carts have been upgraded to electric carts. Pace of play was fast. Other courses I've played in and around Orlando sometimes show a bit of neglect, but not Legends. I like this course. Recommended.

Great to ghastly!!

I played here 2yrs ago and it was a very good course. It was well maintained and I was impressed with the condition and layout of the course and facilities. This time around I could not believe that this was the same course. The proshop was bare and the restaurant was stocked with the minimum - at least the beverage cart came around once on each nine. No marshal was monitoring the pace of play which made it a slow round. This is too bad as it was a great course that has been neglected or fallen victim to the economic times.

Great value for the money.

Sanctuary Ridge is a wonderful golf experience - elevated tees and greens, doglegs, challenging and demanding yet rewarding. I like this layout very much. The course is well maintained and the staff are very friendly and treat you well. The restaurant serves decent fare at reasonable prices. I highly recommend Sanctuary Ridge.
