I'm a grad student so this is the only course that is affordable that is close to UC Davis. Course is in great shape for a muni. Very easy golf course but I think that's why everyone flocks to it. It's hard to get out and play it because you end up waiting 10-15 minutes to hit a shot. It's not enjoyable when that happens.

First off let me say the staff is really friendly and the price is fair. The course is a hackers haven. The fairways and greens are in decent shape. My only issues are the greens and pace of play. The greens are FIRM. Impossible to hold even with a lob wedge. Balls jump 3-5 feet in air when they hit the green and fly off the back. Course is incredibly busy. Pace of play is VERY slow.
