Los Prados Golf Course
Played On 12/15/2016Well Kept Secret
This is a nice little course that most visitors are not aware of. While not very long, don't be deceived, it will provide a nice test of your game. My wife particularly liked the shorter tees for those not long off the tee. We make a point of playing this course whenever we visit Las Vegas. The staff and patrons are friendly and the on course amenities are very good.

Oakcreek Country Club
Played On 04/21/2015Special Place - Special Course
Played this course with my wife on 4/21/15 and was impressed from beginning to end. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The practice facilities were first rate and the course was in fantastic condition. The pace of play was a little over 4 hours as a foursome with very little wait time on any tee box. The views of Bell Rock from the course were spectacular. Can't wait to play here again.
Antler Creek Golf Course
Played On 07/22/2014Not For Everyone
Played this coursed yesterday for the first time with my wife. It was a warm but breezy day. Let me begin by saying the course is in good shape. Level tee boxes, true rolling greens, although the reads were difficult. Fairways were wide and green. The rough was lush and penal if you found it. My only complaint is the sand in the bunkers was inconsistent, but mostly hard. Given that there are 73 bunkers on the course, this is a problem. There are many hard dogleg elevated greens, and the previously mentioned sand is there to grab any errant shot. Local knowledge, which we did not have, is essential to scoring well here. This is the longest course in Colorado from the tips, but even playing from the forward tees, my wife who has a slow swing speed could not carry some of the native grass areas. So in a nutshell, great course if you have local knowledge, can carry 150 yards of native area and can stay in the fairway. If you can't, be prepared to part with many golf balls and not like your score at the end of the day.
Valley Hi Municipal Golf Course
Played On 07/14/2014Lightening Shortened Round
Let's start by saying that we only got through 10 holes due to lightning in the area. This is the sister course to Patty Jewett, but the layouts couldn't be more different. As a first timer here, there were a few holes where local knowledge would have been helpful. The staff was professional if not overly friendly. The cart girl showed up regularly. As far as the course itself, the tee boxes were in fair condition. They were level without being overly chewed up for a muni. The rough was very lush and presented a serious challenge if you found yourself there. The sand seemed well cared for, but was wet and heavy due to the weather. Fairways for the more part were green and lush although we did encounter a few bare spots. The course shines on the greens. Very well manicured and faster than you'd expect. Overall, we were pleased and expect to return to see the rest of the course.
The Club at Savannah Harbor
Played On 2/11/2013One of the best courses I've had the previledge to play
Let me start out by saying my wife and I didn't even want to play this day as we both had colds and it was raining and a bit windy. But once we got to the course and was greeted by the friendly staff and saw the course conditions, we decided to soldier on. Even though we play the first few holes as cart path only, we were able to move right along as we were the first ones out. After the third hole, we were given permission to drive on the course at 90 degrees, and the pace quicken even more. We finished our round in just under 4 hours despite soggy conditions. As for the course, the rough was penal but fair and in excellent condition. The fairways were excellently maintained and the greens were smooth and quick even in the rainy conditions. The sand was of course very wet and heavy, but appeared to be maintained well. The course does require some thought when approaching the greens as they are well bunkered. The greens as previously mentioned were indeed fast, but had enough subtle breaks to make putting interesting.
Overall, this was simply a great course managed by great folks and we can't wait to play it again on a better weather day.
Rancho Vista Golf Course
Played On 11/27/2012Great value for the money
Played the course on 11/27/12 as a foursome. Starter got us off right on time and we found the course in excellent condidtion. I was told the sand was excellent as I was lucky enough not to have to find out for myself. The fairways while a little damp in places was lush and green. Tee boxes were level with only minor damage. The course defends itself on the greens which were very fast and had subtle undulations. The rough is penal but fair. Overall, a great course and well worth the money.
