Heavy rain in pervious week left numerous low areas on fairways and pathways with standing water.

Played the white tees and found most fairways a good width. Greens were in terrific shape with little slope. Grass just off the fairways and around the greens were too deep.....making it difficult to find your ball with what was a reasonably good shot.

Found this course to very affordable and unique. Three 9 hole courses, all beginning and ending back at the clubhouse. ie. 9 holes on the Oak course and 9 holes on the Maple course. Just over 4,000 yards for 18 holes with a good mix of 5, 4 & 3 par holes. Some challenging water hazards, doglegs and blind holes where a bell ring would be good to signal all clear for players coming behind you.

We happened to play on a cool damp day, however the value for the money was excellent. Good club house facilities and always friendly staff....well stocked with golf equipment. Easy access off Upper James & Airport Rd. Hamilton.
