Was very pleased with the conditions of the course! Eagle Trace can be unrelenting in difficulty. The rough was thick and tough to get out of. Greens were average speed and consistent (very important given the difficulty of the course). Fairways and tee boxes is good shape. Course would be in even better condition if players repaired divots, ball marks, etc. Overall great value and very friendly staff. Hot day out there and we were happy to see the beverage cart on numerous occasions. Awesome pace of play.

Great local Muni with impressive new clubhouse and facilities. Awesome layout and quite challenging with the winds. We are in dry season now, but the course needs watering. Greens a little inconsistent, but certainly above average. High season in SoFla means 5-hour round, but cart attendant made sure we had fun. Players assistants checked on us a few times to make sure everyone was comfortable. Overall good experience. Didn't hit the restaurant after, but looks really nice with patio service. A reason to go back.

Eagle Trace is a very challenging golf course that will test all elements of your game. The recent course facelift includes new greens that are still maturing and improved course conditions. We had a hot day, so we were very appreciative of seeing the beverage cart three times during the round. All the staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs during the round. We didn't stay after for a beverage, so I cannot comment on the facilities, but I'll absolutely be back.

First time playing Colony West. I'll start by saying that their greens are good and consistent. They could be faster, but they are consistent. A lot of holes on the course are similar in layout (doglegs), however the slightly elevated greens with well placed bunkers on many holes make the approach shot visually appealing. Fairways we're dry in many spots and wet in others. Their new clubhouse is still under construction, but looks amazing, and can't wait to stay for a post-round beverage. Newer carts with USB ports (our USB ports didn't work). Staff very friendly. They could use a starter to create better pace of play. Course was very crowded, but we made it around in 4.5 hrs. Will come back to play again.

There are so many things that make this course great, including the staff. There is just one thing missing about the course and I can't figure it out. The course needs water, and maybe that's it. It'd be nice to hit the range before, too. Kudos's to the staff for a great day, including those in the restaurant/kitchen. Buy something from your local pro. It'll go a long way this year.

A challenging course from 6,400+ yards on a breezy and humid day for my first play at Majors Golf. Pace of play was excellent, as there were not many on the course midday. They are doing some work on the course to get it back into shape, and it's going to take a big effort, but overall the greens were good, fairways spotty, and the tees were average. The layout of the course is awesome, but can be a bit confusing if you haven't played here before (pay attention to hole layout pictures at the tees). Gotta keep the ball in the fairway here, as it gets pretty tight with hazards all around. Exceptionally long par 3's, which was a pleasant surprise. It's definitely not a course to be walked, as there are some good distances between tees. Decent driving range with practice putting green/short game area. There were limited services (no alcohol) available due to the COVID-19 regulations, and all the staff were very friendly, conscious about sanitary conditions, and accommodating. Definitely heading back soon to replay.
